  1. Hoping Kelly Howe was right that they aren't use to teams that want to run right at you, hopefully we can have some success tonight running it right up the gut. Wonder if Maag will be healthy enough to play, sounds like he was going to test it in pregame. I hope he is cautious, I'd rather have him for the conference games.
  2. Thanks, it looked like I was going to have to upgrade my DirectTV to get that, but I'll just do the YouTube trial
  3. So it's on a CBS network, and won't be on ESPN+?
  4. The FCS Fans Nation Admins Top 25 Ranking.
  5. I'm thinking our young OL will find it tough to get a consistent push for long sustained drives but I'm thinking we still find a way to score at least 24, but we end up giving up a few big plays and give up more than that. USU 31, UND 24
  6. This play is beautiful, and I agree...would be the perfect play with Quincy since he runs 99% of the time (so far). Someone send this to Danny
  7. It won't be anything like that, he played a lot last year and finished 7th on the team in tackles. The first game of the season last year, he was in on the 2nd defensive series and I think Haas was 100% healthy. Him getting as much playing time as he did last year with Haas being ahead of him, leads me to believe the coaches think he is pretty darn good.
  8. Last year it looked like Navratil rotated in a lot for Haas, I'd guess he would get the start now. Navratil looked good, I don't think there will be much of a drop off.
  9. That is definitely good news! We will need a few big plays on offense Friday night, it will likely be hard to consistently have long slow drives down the field.
  10. Any word on Maag? Will suck if Maag, Richter, and Belquist are all not available.
  11. Damn that sucks, what a crappy break! There was nobody around him when he jumped up to intercept that ball and landed akwardedly. I assume it happened when he landed. $&#(@($&#$

And that is with at least two drops, perfect ball to Maag on that deep one...right in his hands in stride, and Cochran dropped one.

I agree, although the likelihood of this camera crew having the right angle to catch it is not good

What is the radio station it’s on so I can try and stream that until ESPN gets going

Thankfully we are deep at WR, this is a good opportunity for some of the other guys to show what they’ve got.

Obviously they aren’t being very forthcoming on injuries, sounded like Boltmann and Belquist would play and Belquist didn’t even travel. If they don’t play the next two weeks, might as well wait until season opener.

Ended up back in ND and in Bismarck this weekend, beautiful day out.....skipping the river to stay in and watch the game. Hoping that is a good decision. Let's go Hawks!!
  20. My two biggest keys to the season will be: 1. Does the OL play decent (7 on a 1-10 scale) 2. Positive turnover margin like last year. If those two things happen I think we'll have a good season. DL is a little bit of a concern but I think we'll have more size and depth than last year so I think they'll be at least as good if not better than last year.

Yeah the do but they've had our number, so I can see why some on their board might be confident. And yeah, this time of the year everybody has high hopes......great time of year. I think the game will be close, but would be nice to beat them convincingly this Saturday and then when we play them at home next time.

  23. Really anxious to see what our offense can do this year with both Schuster and Vaughn with a season under their belt and Tommy as a full season starter. We've got lots of good WR's...looking forward to them making some plays. If healthy.....I think my starting 3 WR's might be Maag, Boltmann and Belquist? Then Richter in as the 4th wideout to get two tall WR's on the field. Wonder if they will hold out Belquist and Boltmann until conference games start.
  24. The move up to FCS has been painful as it has taken us a lot longer to get to where we are now, but it feels good to be in these types of conversations. Need to have a strong season this fall to prove the spring wasn't a fluke. https://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/2021-08-17/these-6-fcs-teams-could-be-next-first-time-national-champion?fbclid=IwAR1HM1ASWJiggK_TwmTkgOJpjKXqz4wVunNma9lGT3hzYTCwN-TOH3Om6fU
  25. I get nervous now when injuries are vague. I remember in the Spring we heard Boltmann got dinged up/injuried in practice about a week before the first game, so we all thought he'd be out maybe a week or two and be back and then was out all season. Hope it's not the same with Lotysz.
