  1. Those of you that are coming to the meeting, first of all thank you for taking the time. And secondly, I hope you get the opportunity to voice your opinions about having no name.

If the comeback is- the NC$$ will punish us, ask the committee for absolute proof of this.

Is it written anywhere in NC$$ by laws that you must have a nickname or suffer consequences???

  2. Phil Jackson is such a tool. I really can't stand that guy, ever since he coached the Chicago Bulls. I swear the refs tried to help the Bulls win almost every game back when Jordan was playing. Not that they needed help, they were a great team. But that's how unfairly officiated their games were, especially when they played the Knicks. You just had to know the NBA felt it was in their best interest for Chicago to win as long as the poster boy for special treatment was on the roster (#23 traveled on probably half the points he ever scored). But on the rare occasions when a game was called evenly Jackson would throw a hissy fit as if his team was being violated.

Not only against the Knicks.... I'm still waiting for game 7 of the 1998 NBA Finals to be played.

    :-)

  3. You are right.

I've heard this philosophy discussed by several NFL coaches/former players. The common thread of why you don't kick twice is this: you never willingly give the opponent an extra possession.

Another problem I have with it, is nobody can predict the future obviously. What if the opponent goes on a seven minute drive, pounding the ball into the wind?

one thing we know for sure is you are guaranteeing yourself one less possession, or an equal amount of possessions, compared to your opponent, during the quarter that you have the wind at your back. I would rather have equal possessions, or one more possession, during the quarter I have the wind at my back.

  4. I'm fine with pulling the redshirt. I would guess they had a conversation with Studsrud and he was fine with it.

With no consistent running game all year long we put him in a tough spot. Lots to ask of a true freshman, playing without the top two WRs to be effective yesterday.

Disappointing outcome yesterday. Finishing 2-1 down the stretch is a realistic goal.

I will be pleasantly surprised if this team goes anything other than 0 - 3 to end the year. Weber will look at next week as perhaps their best remaining opportunity to avoid a winless season.

They can at least score. We can't. Defensive TDs or turnovers giving the O outstanding field position is our only chance.

  5. If Bartles is done for the year then I understand the decision. I didn't think the Injury was that bad. Here's hoping for the best.

this is the only circumstance where pulling the shirt makes any sense.

If Bartels is back this year, then I will really wonder wtf the coaching staff is thinking.   Next year's quarterback decision will be a nightmare regardless how this year plays out.

  6. This game IMO was never winnable... period...even without the injuries. 2 of the last 3 are. I think this program needs a stepping stone even if it's 5-7. If Bubba feels Keaton can provide a means to that end...I'm aboard.

How serious is Bartels injury? Is he probably done for the year too?

  7. I may be blamed for agreeing with the broadcast team or jumping to brash conclusions, but I really am not impressed with the play-calling. Rudolph has been inept all season doing it. Now, the offensive injuries are really hampering and I understand that, but I still think Bubba needs to be conscious of this and the jury should still be out on Rudolph.

Rudolph couldn't lead this offense out of a North Pole parking garage. Several of us have been saying this since about week two.

  8. Just want to see how the team looks coming off a loss, facing a top-10 opponent on the road, and perhaps facing adversity at the QB position.

If UND plays tough and competitive, that'll be telling in what Bubba is doing with his team's mental status and enthusiasm to play. If UND gets blown out of the water, I'll be a little concerned.

Good points.    I think we will see a team fired up and ready to play.  Limiting mistakes/turnovers on offense, and not giving up the big play on defense, should keep this game interesting.

  9. Yeah and all I stated was that Western Ill has played some good teams tough this year and was taking it to Illinois State til they made that comeback to win. I also stated this year UND wouldn't win at Western Ill. So yes I'm pretty much stating facts but you don't like what i have to say so you whine and cry and call people trolls. You acting like a baby looks worse than anything.

You mad, or sad, bro? As far as "looks worse than anything", I'm pretty sure you, nosidel, and bisonalumni11 during your late night love affairs looks worse than anything.

  10. I chirped in to support him? I love the whiny little punks like you who cry non stop. Not sure where I've been trolling in here but you go ahead and keep up the crying. You make your fan base proud.

Lol. I just stated the facts. I'm perfectly calm. You seem to be the one getting all up in the air about it. It appears you are crying and whining right now.

Do you think you make your fan base proud little fella? Spending your time at Sioux Sports displaying you little man syndrome for all the world to see? You are an embarrassment to real bison fans.

  11. Why is this thread topic named FCS Polls Week...... I see practically nothing about polls or teams in it.

It should be named Trolls Week instead. It started off about polls, until post #9 when bison alumni11 claimed Darrell1976 said something on a different website.

Then bisonalumni's trusty boyfriends nosidel, and you, chirped in to support him. And it's gone downhill ever since.

  12. Hardly a scientific poll. No more conclusive than a poll of Siouxsports.com or Bisonville might be.

So please tell us how in the hell is your polling data any more accurate? I cannot believe a 50-year-old man would spend his time trolling on another schools message board. You are a total Monistat seven bag

  13. Good grief...... Talk about thread drift. Let's just give up on comparing dick length until we are actually going to play each other. Right now UND is in a hell of a hole and NDSU is riding the top of a huge wave. No one has a clue where either school will be when we play. Why not just argue about the polls....

Considering this is SiouxSports, with some non fans making 50 posts each yesterday to tell us they're not interested in playing UND, it's not hard to tell who would win the biggest dick contest. So, congratulations bison fans, you win.
