Like I said, when my child had to make a decision I told him to forget football and the $$$$ on the table. He should go where he would get the best education for what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.... "Then it's UND Mom!" Sounds like the recruits have the maturity to stick together for 4 or 5 years and be re models. Success will follow!!!!

I like TE. As a non football person I think their contribution is exciting when the play works. Some seem to control the game but again a non football opinion. None of my kids ever played TE though....

Well I have been in health care since man landed on the moon. I can tell you some of the best doctors and nurses I have worked with are from UND. I knew about UND long before Fighting Sioux football. Hands down a quality program and very well respected in health care. Also some of their admission criteria is much tougher ( and more common sense) than other schools. And let's get back to football!

Everything is open season until signing and yes after a verbal commitment others ante up big time with calls and 24 hour Fed Ex offers. It is a positive but stressful time. I understand UND being the "right fit" very well. It was just an impressive visit, community, and no one in our family has regretted it! The decision is with one person and it really stretches "letting your child make decisions." Like my mother says " Cream Rises!!!." Go Sioux

Well, if I read this interactive Knight Commission Report on Intercollegiate Athletics right....UND spendt $35,823 per football player in 2011. The FBS median is $102,128. The Gophers spend $199,826 and I did not get the Big Ten figures but some schools are significantly over $200,000. Income is not listed that I could find.... So, looks like we need more $$$$ for football! Bubba Ball Began already!!!
