I said worn, not worn out... it was dull, looked bleached out, and in sharp contrast to the rest of the building, needs replacement IMHO. Worn out means he’s and patches and stains....

Administration is more at the crossroads than the coaching staff, IMHO..... we need facilities, scholarships, and salaries for coaches. Look at that non-public money in the Fargodome.... sponsorship after sponsorship. The last game there (?year).... they were giving away free pizza coupons taped under the seats. JuiceU has progressed from that, for sure. Someone needs to start the infrastructure for us..... They do need new turf... it is worn..... otherwise the technology, signs, and announcing all point to money from the community.

The head is good and done professionally.... the body looks like someone went into the unused athletic equipment storeroom and just picked up a few pieces.... The questions that need to be answered... 1. How much movement will be done in this? Will make a huge impact on style. 2. Is the mascot the same for every sport or is it sport-specific? You could make it generic and add a jersey for the specific sport. 3. These wings are almost the biggest disgrace.... I guarantee you 100% on my RN license there are better wings that can be sewn (and I am not talking about buying chicken wings and my hawk legs would be better too). So again, visual impact and visual recognition. Get someone at the local watering hole to have a few drinks and start talking....

That is a poor hawk... keep the head but the rest has to go. Isn’t there some theater grad student that could design one? UND needs a mascot. When I do costumes I do visual recognition and visual impact. Visual recognition is when a 4 year old in the seats recognizes this as a hawk. The visual impact is the WOW factor, more for adults. Someone needs to work on a quality hawk and isn’t it hawks? We need more than one.

Well consider the source... standing in line for security... the lady behind me said,”We should have pretty good seats. They are right by the 3rd down line.” Seriously, some comments do not warrant a response. Finally a man corrected her that the tickets were by the 45 yard line.

I totally agree... it all goes back to money, either in the budget or donated. Yes we need to vent. Like I said... we just need to sleep on it.

No, we are 1 - 1. We lost to the national champs but not 58 to 0... that would be a blow out. The offense had some good moments; the defense got tired out but come on, 2 sacks. The ST have improved. I am not ready to throw the coaches or players under the bus yet. Administration will need to start either funding this level of play or be satisfied with less than mediocre teams... and see what donors and sponsors have to say. A lot of money in sponsorship in the dome.... sleep on it... look to the next game...

Well I posted send me a photo and I can sew you a hawk.... seriously, mine would be a LOT better and I don’t want to brag...I did not vision this. If I wasn’t sewing for the high school play Mary Poppins, I would whip onecuo this week and bring it with..... might anyway!

When I see this type of behavior I wonder what was he like in 3rd or 4th grade? This behavior would get him shunned on the playground! I am still a proud UND supporter... yes we have work to do but I hope we continue to grow!

Event staff talked to me... big UND fan and from GF “Only way I would ever watch a Bison game is if they pay me. And no one ever utters the H word. We are the Sioux.! Warms my heart.

Absolutely EVERY TIME I use it I offer up a little prayer for that mama and how hurt she must have been. enjoying watching the Sioux today, even if we are behind... enjoying the memories of other games here
