In all of the places I've ever sent a resume or application, not one of them has cared where my degree came from. College degrees, outside ivy league, don't hold any water in getting you employment. Of course, that's my opinion.
If the person reading it is familiar with the school, it can help/hurt. Whether you have UND, NDSU, or SDSU likely won't matter for a job in Georgia, but if you have UND and are applying to work for a relocated UND grad, it can help, even if it does nothing more than getting you in for the interview.
There are schools in this area that I prefer to others when hiring for certain positions. If someone came in for that position with a degree from Coastal Carolina, whose program quality I'm not really familiar with, then the school name matters less.

What's misleading about this line, is that he was 2nd and 3rd on the team in a couple offensive categories.
As a season ticket holder, I'm pretty disappointed in this trade. If you read the article, though, it seems Eades has wanted this Hildenbrand kid since the first time he saw him at a combine. John Marks traded Cam Johnson about this same point in the season 2 years ago. Just can't seem to keep our Sioux commits in Fargo...

Forget the Super Bowl. Is Megatron really retiring at age 30?

Costco rate in WF was $1.449 today - actually $0.02/gallon more than I paid at the Costco in Maple Grove on Sunday.

I'll try to remember to take pictures of a couple of game used pro sticks I have at home when I go to lunch - you won't believe the curve and shape that Jason Spezza puts in his blade!

5 v 5 is the standard and recognized for NCAA points and Pairwise as a win, if I'm not mistaken. The 3 v 3 is only for conference points, as the game is a tie for all other rankings.

Reading is not your strong suit is it?
Last time I checked he was still the president of NDSU.
Instead of answering what you think of it, you attack. Nice.
So, should I assume you're ok with him not having to follow the rules imposed on the peasants?

Saw a blurb that 2 of the interview candidates are finalists for other jobs. I wonder if that will speed up this process? Or maybe just cut down on the interviews?

Don't let facts get in the way of a good smear campaign. http://www.inforum.com/news/3929222-ndsu-spent-83k-brescianis-business-class-travel-chancellor-investigate
But keep beating that drum I'm sure there are plenty like you who despite the truth will believe anything.
The article you link says he may have broken some travel rules. If so, he's in trouble and not as part of a smear campaign - Care to comment? Or should that part be ignored in his case? Following your link:
"Bresciani is flying business class despite an NDSU travel policy that permits reimbursement only of "tourist or coach fare." According to that policy, tickets must be "purchased at the lowest reasonable rate available, except when approved by the President."
On Wednesday, a person could buy a round-trip ticket similar to Bresciani's for about $1,400 in coach, or about $12,100 in business class."

And two tacos at RP are $6, not $12 like Barbacoa
Honestly, I'm the same distance from Mezzaluna as I am from Barbacoa, so if they're going to be similar in price, I'll expect them to be on a similar level. From my one visit, they're not. I'll probably try Barbacoa next on HH so the price isn't the issue, and see how they stand up. For now, Mezzaluna walleye tacos > Barbacoa's baracoa tacos.

Try Barbacoa.........outstanding.
Only been there once, so far. Good flavor, but not a great value. Probably have to try it during happy hour when the tacos are cheaper.
Maybe we need a spin-off Where to Eat in Fargo thread, haha!

Really? 3 bad experiences..........
Yep. Maybe I'm spoiled, but they weren't up to my expectations. I tried to rationalize with "oh, they've only been open a month" then the next time "it's really hard to get people to work in Fargo", so I went back again. I'm done now.

In GF, I finally got to try the Rhombus Brewery on Friday night. Good burger (wife loved her sandwich and soup, too), good beer, hockey was on the TV even before we sat down. I'm likely to return to try the street tacos

BTW......Toasted Frog Fargo is evey bit as good as the GF original.
Fargo isn't very good, but I had always heard the original in GF was better.
Gave Fargo 3 tries. If I'm disappointed three visits in a row, don't expect me to return.

My head says split, but I wonder if I'm giving Blaise more credit than his team has the talent to warrant? I like this measuring stick, esp at home, for this point in the season. Sweep them, and we can start really dreaming big -

Taco shop is ass. Can't beat the pepper or understand why it tastes good.
Love them both. But, when RP starts having chicken tacos and putting more than a tablespoon of meat in their beef tacos, you'll have a more valid point.

Appears we are having a Green Out on Friday night. The team will also be wearing Green.
Confirmed? Last year during the green out, they still wore their home whites, IIRC?

2nd period of night 2 of Yon v Kiersted, and Yon winning tonight - up 2-0 with a goal and an assist
Make that 3-0

Mattson has good size at his age and will get stronger no doubt. This draft will be dominated by USA and fins early on. Jost could be one first few candiens taken anywhere from 8 on or so it seems. Down year for Canada which is rare for top top end guys as of now. Then throw in Tufte (umd) and bellows (BU) there could be a few nchc/NCAA guys taken in first round.
Tufte has really jumped up - both he and Michael Graham were B rated when they were with the Force this Fall (both supposed to come back after their HS season is over).

The hat trick was sweet, but when they made it close, and Granlund scored 1.6 seconds after the Columbus goal - I don't care that it was an empty net, that was still awesome!

It's been rough lately - first period lead, then come out flat as the RRV in the second. Yeo may very well be feeling the heat!
