I have a feeling the Force may be cleaning house here in the near term and looking ahead to next year.
Already in full swing
After being in the finals last year, this season has been tough to watch.

Anybody see Cakebread play yet? thoughts?
We also have season tickets for the Force. Cakebread has been on and off over the course of the season, but at his age it's to be expected. He likes to hit people as well as score - good to see a physical fwd. Nice kid. So far he's pretty humble and gets wide eyed at people walking around with his jersey on. His parents come in from AZ every once in a while, and seem to really support him playing. He appears to have a good future -
So what is the story with Pelnik? ... He may be pretty raw and more of a project.
I haven't seen Pelnik since he left the Force. In Fargo, he barely saw ice time. Project was a good word to describe him at that point. His lasting impression here will be the striptease he did during a jersey auction (purple-n-pucks) that ended with him wearing a jockstrap, decorated with a smilie face, over compression shorts. More than a little inappropriate and probably cost the charity some money as bidding on his jersey ceased at that point...

Correct. The guy who sits next to me has added names to at least 3 or 4 of the various generations of jerseys since that shop opened up. It's funny watching him be all excited every time one gets delivered to his seat - has to put it on immediately
-
It's $80 or $90 (I can't remember for sure if it was $80, or 80-something, for the wife's in December), plus whatever you pay for the jersey. That gets you numbers on the front, back, and sleeves, plus name and the 'C' or 'A' if you want it. They'll deliver it to your seat, or you can pick it up.

Sioux win 3-2. We start a little slow, wake up, take a 3-1 lead and then make it far to interesting at the end. Luke gets one of the first 2 goals and Dill gets 2 assists.

Per twitter, Maine received a verbal commitment from a 7th grader ('00 born.) Wow.
That's just silly. My 7th grade daughter verbally committed to the UND soccer team. And volleyball, too, now that I think about it. Should I have done a press release? She won't change her mind in the next 4.5 years, right? She couldn't just have been dreaming about her future, could she? SMH at Maine kid's parents...

I guess it would depend on how hard he'd been practicing on his own. I was under the impression that he wasn't allowed to practice with the team during this suspension. In that case, I think I'd take Panz and give Chyzyk a week to get back into the swing of things.
^^ What I'm thinking is the case - he might not be ready this week.

So this is how I see the forward lines this weekend:
Rocco-Luke-Drake
Mark-Parks-OD
Colton-Bryn-Murphy
General-Rodwell-Gaarder
I don't mind these lines at all.
I don't think we get Bryn this weekend. Panzer centering that line?
-
Chyzyk was reinstated this week
I totally missed that - thanks for the info!
-
I just can't understand the thinking to jump ship mid-season... Team sport, and he just showed what kind of "teammate" he is - that should bite him in the butt soon enough.
Down another fwd, I really wonder what it'll take to get Chyzyk's issues resolved, if he's even got a chance of coming back without going the full-Frattin route?
-
START? This worries me about you, do you really believe their reaction in the hand shake line was the start of it? Come on, even you can't be that naive... Can you?
Blinders? Maroon colored glasses? D'oh!
-
That's a huge stretch...he IMO is servicable when healthy.
He's shown signs of more from time to time, but I, unfortunately, have to agree with your statement for the rest of his games.
-
We have got to sweep against a poor CC team at home. We need to position ourselves to be able to survive a couple road splits further down the schedule.
My view, exactly.
-
Maybe I just missed it, but do we know if Karvinen is playing this weekend?
-
Hope you don't mind, but I fixed that for youI'd say 0% chance. If it were to get moved, it would basically be the NCAA admitting they made a mistake, and I'm more likely to win the lottery.

I just hope the boys don't think in those terms - that would be a recipe for a beating on Friday nightThey're lucky their schedule has eased up.

Very happy to have it in Fargo! If the people in GF saw how many of us drive up I-29 each game night.. It'll be fun to have you come our direction for a weekend.

It's not that I'm blaming anyone, just that my old subscription ran out, and I wounldn't have renewed tonight if I'd known it was going to suck.Did you buy from undsports.com? I believe that they are just picking up the feed, so it wouldn't really be their fault. Anyone on the blog? Any questions about the webcast there?
-
I agree we need a refund - wish I'd logged in here before I bought!I can't believe they charge for this crappy webcast......should refund us!
-
Looks like we're good - thanks for looking!
-
Last second change in plans, and I need 2 seats for tonight's game. I'm currently in EGF, so can meet before game. Call or text 701-361-2218. Thanks!

Text sent - sorry, we're out watching the game and it's too loud to call
