I remember that hire. I thought the other guy should be picked. I talked to a hockey player on the team and he said Gino was the guy. The team believed in him. I did know that rube was not a good coach.

I agree Eric was not below average for sure. I remember the year defense was injury depleted. Some in fall camp and more as the year progressed. Bobcats came to GF and expected to roll us because we had no DL except freshman or little playing time. Eric cobbled together a great plan and we beat the Bobcats. They where ranked pretty high and Anderson was their QB. Later NFL as LB. I was impressed how Eric put that together.

Issac was mentioned as an up and coming coach. Offense was quite good with limitations. With a better defense easily another TD per game. The players respect him. Bring in a defense and we are competing for the MVFC title.

We are bringing in a defensive guy.
