Would say good experience gainer when we still wish we had our starters back. But they also can't seem to be tight in coverage and always seems to be a yard or 2 off when ball arrives.

How much I miss our experienced non true freshman secondary. As much as they may appear to be getting picked on. The defense overall hasn't played terrible against the #4 team in the nation with these true freshman in the field. No help from the offense

Change the play calls to give the falling QB something that maybe he can be successful in. If that doesn't work. Go to the other QB and see what he can do.

The power run game off tackle we ran with Simon last week is what we needed to try at some point earlier in this game to change up what Tarleton has to run on D.

Didn't see it live. Replay when he was in the air before ball was there looked like DB ran through him before it arrived. Either way he had a chance and could've gotten it. Wasn't the worst ball but looked like it could've been placed in the front of the End zone instead of the 2yd line and would've been in stride.

Can we not try a pitch sweep around the edge to the wide side? Only thing off tackle we run always appear to be short side and stretch plays where our OL also moves with it taking away any open grass.

As soon as our defense gave up that 2nd effort when they initially had the RB stopped on 3rd down felt that next play would be a big one. It was I didn't see it until after the 2pt conversion when they showed the replay. Our blister who was coming right up the middle and had a free shot at the QB on the TD play got grabbed and twisted by the OL. Another terrible hold that Tarleton has gotten away with.

Nice catch by fleming. He looked to have the defender beat but was the 1st ball that Jerry decided to float today and floated it to where BJ had to slow up.

That LB didn't even have to move much. Was there the whole time. Not like the receiver over the middle was very open anyway. Poor decision

On the punts a Tarleton player keeps putting a different jersey on. They showed him getting it taken off after the punt.

Jerry just left Tai out to get destroyed. The defender was already breaking on the play and was no room. Jerry could've kept it with more room. The handoff in the RPO would've been a decent gainer.

DL went to go fill the hole and the OL guard uses both hands to grab and yank the DL back out of it to get the 14 yard run.

Even with the TD there, why is Jerry still in? Even after last week Simon has 0 confidence from his coaches.

Thank goodness our defense got our team into position we didn't need to get a first down.

Even if cleared protocol, is should've been evident that he doesn't have it at all today, and add on top with concussions the thought process and decision making is slower and affected. Not sure his issues the weeks before that.

Why did he rifle it? He always puts It where the RB needs to reach behind them or stop to catch it when they have room to run, just needs to float it and let the RB catch it in stride.

Hold on, someone will come and tell you that "isn't it obvious the receiver ran the wrong route" just bc Jerry rifled it to where the receiver wasn't.

For as well as our defense has played in my opinion. You can only give a team so many opportunities and 2 already started deep in UND territory bc of our offense. The way of offense has been playing we would've had a much better chance of gaining positive yardage by punting and then hoping the defense can fall on one of the fumbles Tarleton offense has been putting on the ground.

Not sure I have seen Jerry audible out of that this year at all.

The ball definitely moved hitting the ground. But the replays they showed won't be conclusive enough unless they have another angle they didn't show.

3rd down is on our coaching staff. 1. Calling the play that hasnt worked . 2. Not calling timeout when they saw the defensive alignment that would justify a change of play obviously. The fake punt ..... I don't know

Forget what I said. Go back to calling 3rd down go routes. At least then we survive to punt.

I agree. But there sure been a few this year that didn't seem anywhere close to catchable for DPI. Either way Jerry can't hit him. They need to quit calling go routes for him.
