If the last 2 were DPI that was OPI, the defender had a chance to come forward but the WR just kept pushing him back.
-
Now this is getting ridiculous. 2 consecutive when you didn't call the ones that were more obvious earlier.
-
That didn't look like PI and looked uncatchable even if there was.
-
Live I thought it was just a unfortunate timing and accidental with Jerry. Replay show the defender lowered his head and shoulder all the way to the ground to make sure he hit him. That probably should've been called.
-
Someone called for a sack at half, there it is!
-
Ouch just saw the Sycamores score against Illinois last night. Illinois win 73-0
-
Thank goodness, we got away with a hold right in front of the official too.
-
Good run by Jerry, but felt it was wierd he didn't stay tight to the blockers and ran all the way to the sideline before turning up when he had huge space. He almost stepped out with no one within 5 yards of him.
-
it worked there. Good blocking and as soon as hole opened boost right through it.
-
If you almost make the one handed catch in the basket, it becomes even more obvious as they continue to hold his arm to stop from coming up for it. There could be alot of DPI on Montana, most are the style that we hope go uncalled both ways all game, but then they let big ones go, or call a OPI just so they can say they called one.

USD wins in OT.
-
In the 1st half we used a timeout on offense as the pxp was pointing out that we looked to be lined up wrong as we had too many on the line of scrimmage and had a normally eligible guy covered up. Coaches didn't look happy, was that the same formation does anyone remember?
-
Very surprised he attempted that return after getting lit up on the previous one.
-
USD and Northern Colorado are going into OT tied at 17.

So far i have no issues that I can recall with Montana TV PXP, they are impressed with UND so far, been giving alot of praises at times.
-
Did we not have year that names on the back on atleast one set of jerseys was either North Dakota town names, or important people in UND history?
-
Not a fan that Kansas State is 1-2 with the only win vs UND. Lost to Arizona last night, Arizona is 3-0 wins over Hawaii, Weber St, and Kansas St. Kansas St is -9 pt spread on the year with a 1-3 record. The Army loss really hurts them too, their defense could not get off the field in the 2nd half. 2nd half vs Army the offensive plays run were 60 for Army, and 4 for KSU. 64 plays ran and they were only on offense for 4, that is just crazy. The back breaker was the Army attempted squib kick that hit a KSU guy and became a Army recovery.
-
and Montana gets the ball to start the 3rd.
-
I'm hoping that the 2nd quarter was the off-quarter and we lucked out that D played well and we kept the lead instead of being total collapse.
-
While the outcome would not be different, it looked like both interfered with each other. Mont were holding him going into the end zone, and both hands and Mont jumping made the call bc it looked like they stopped him INT it. I think Jerry may have thought that there wasn't enough time to get the spike in once it was snapped, but even if its a spike the OL just stood there, play till the whistle.
-
I haven't payed close enough attention, but we run a 2 RB set very often do we? Nothing like the Santiago Brady O. days that had dual threat running options, Santiago could get big hits on passes out of the backfield, and Brady could do great pass protection.
-
In football terms I have no problem with that huge hit as its Football. But I thought there was something put in place that has hurt us in the past with saying defenseless receiver. And Fair catch it.
-
I'm not mad at going for it on 4th there, but not sure why that play call, hasn't been super effective all day. There have been some overthrows and some drops by WR as well tho. I would've looked for RPO with a TE streaking out. Just feel like we have now left alot of points on the field though with mixed XP, block (push) in the back at the 1 as our guy was already being tackled to back them up and only got 3 instead of 7, and then 0 there. The thing that just always nerve racking is when UND definitely are giving the feel of having all control of the game with the play on the field but then can't pull away, then you have the bad third quarter at KSU and when UND may have been the better team the other 3 quarters, the 3rd was so skewed that we didn't make it up. Happened alot last year. Also, this first half has felt very long.

Army is currently driving and in the redzone down 17-21 vs Kansas State. This Army drive is over 7 minutes and started with a squib kick that hit the KSU front line and bounced right back to Army. Did not appear to be intentional. Update: Army just took the lead 2:52 left in the 4th. 3 point game. Army lost to Tarleton State last week.

had to show a good series coming out of halftime after the 3rd quarter performance last week
