  1. Spencer Kuhlman he was (6-9-15) on the season.
  2. I thought you ment they played in the same junior A league. I did agree with you that he is a good goalie. The big question to me is, can Hrynkiw bounce back after giving up 4 or 5 goals one night and shut down the team the next night.
  3. Both Brey and Fredrick are still playing, Brey in the USHL playoffs and Fredrick is playing for the RBC Cup in Canada.
  4. I agree that he might not be your traditional 3rd string goalie. Rumpel played in the BCHL not the SJHL, and there are goalies out there that play in tougher leagues that are better. Hrynkiw was 27-11-2 SOL 6 Shutouts 1.83 GAA .939 SV% 74 GA; Playoffs 10-6-0 SOL 0 Shutouts 2.11 GAA .939 SV% 37 GA Brey was 26-6-4 OTL 3 Shutouts 2.22 GAA .904 SV% 77 GA; Playoffs 6-1-0 OTL 1 Shutout 1.81 GAA .929 SV% 13 GA Fredrick was 42-2-2 7 Shutouts 1.90 GAA .919 SV% 88 GA; Playoffs 12-5-0 1 Shutout 2.18 GAA .921 SV% 39 GA
  5. Maybe he is thinking of going to the NHL, Av's fired their coach (I don't know and haven't looked to see if it was filled yet).
  6. The NAHL is a Tier 2 league, the AWHL is Tier 3, which includes all the junior A teams from Montana (there are 6 teams) and one from Wyoming.
  7. He is from St.Louis, so he could be related to Michael Parks. With Minot he was (18-17) 2 Shutouts 2.79 GAA .917 SV%.
  8. Gropp would be a big pick up, I'd like to see what Madison Dunn's number would be after playing a full season in the AJHL. Dunn played 38 games for the Brooks Bandits (12-7-19). I don't know what goalies the coaches are looking at, so here are some uncommitted goalies. Arthur Brey - Dubuque Fighting Saints 6'0" (24-6-4 OTL's) 3 Shutouts 2.22 GAA .904 SV%. With his coach at Dubuque now the head coach at Denver. I think that it is highly likely that he will go to Denver. Michael Fredrick - Brooks Bandits 5'9" (42-2-2) 7 Shutouts 1.90 GAA .919 SV%. I happen to see highlights of a game he played this year. He played aggressive and very agile took away the bottom of the net, the only goal he gave up was on a penatly shot. Kevin Lindskoug - Muskegon Lumberjacks 5'10" (23-18-6 OTL's) 8 Shutouts 2.49 GAA .923 SV%. Nic Renyard - Penticton Vees 6'1" (10-6-0) 1 Shutout 2.24 GAA .919 SV%. Connor Girard - Sioux City Musketeers 6'1" (4-7-1 OTL) 3.09 GAA .898 SV%, Dubuque Fighting Saints (14-3-2 OTL's) 2 Shutouts 2.11 GAA .910 SV%. Kyle Hayton - Sioux City Musketeers 5'11" (14-8-4 OTL's) 2.65 GAA .911SV% Nick Kulmanovsky - Grand Prairie Storm 5'11" (24-12-0) 1 Shutout 2.49 GAA .918 SV%. Curtis Skip - Grand Prairie Storm 5'11" (11-9-4) 2 Shutouts 2.58 GAA .919 SV%. Jared D'amico - Okotoks Oilers 5'9" (23-9-2) 3 Shutouts 2.23 GAA .926 SV% Brendan Jensen - Fargo Force 6'1" (24-11-1 OTL) 2 Shutouts 2.92 GAA .911 SV%. Aaron Nelson - Bismarck Bobcats 5'9" (24-7-6 OTL's) 5 Shutouts 1.88 GAA .909 SV%.
  9. Sounds like there is more to this story. Maybe Ohio State goes after Gwozdecky, time to wait and see where Gwozdecky ends up.
  10. I think Maine will go after Greg Cronin
  11. I know that, I'm talking more about Maine going after Gwozdecky
  12. I read somewhere that Maine wants a Maine guy
  13. ESPN is going out of their way not to show the crowed.
  14. I think the Av's should go after Gwozdecky.
  15. The big question to me is does Maine have the money to hire Gwozdecky?
  16. That would give the 1 and 2 seeds a first round bye in each region.
  17. I could see it being Simpson, i'm going for Grimaldi.
  18. I could have added Bob Johnson, Jeff Sauer, Mike Eaves, and Murray Armstrong. Dean Blais, who is a great coach, hasn't won a national title since 2000 that would be 8 years (as a D1 coach). The point is there are some great coaches out there that took time to get a national title. For everyone saying the Hakstol should be fired, who do you hire?
  19. Since there are some people that want to fire Hakstol every year because he hasn't won a national title, how about look at some other coaches. Don Lucia - 26 seasons as a D1 head coach, 15 seasons to win his first national title, it has been 10 seasons since his second title. George Gwozdecky - 24 seasons as a D1 coach, 15 seasons to win his first national title, it has been 8 seasons since his second title. Red Berenson - 29 seasons as a D1 coach, 12 seasons to win his first national title, it has been 15 seasons since his second title. Jack Parker - 40 seasons as a D1 coach, 5 seasons to win his first national title, it took 17 seasons to win his second title, it took 14 seasons to win his third title. Jerry York - 41 seasons as a D1 coach, 12 seasons to win his first national title, it took 17 seasons to win his second title, it took 7 seasons to win his third title. Scott Owens - 14 seasons no national title. Dick Umile - 23 seasons no national title. Tim Whitehead - 17 seasons no national title, 12 seasons at Maine. I believe Hakstol will get a national title, after he gets the first one I could see Hakstol getting more national titles at the rate BC has been winning them. This year in the national turnament I didn't see a team that couldn't be beat. The only thing Hakstol can't do is go play for the guys on the team, its up to the 26 guys in the locker room that put the North Dakota jersey on to play a full 60 minutes every night. This team seemed to have a game each weekend that they didn't show up for a full 60 minutes.
  20. I think Yale can beat Minnesota
  21. Yale is pulling UND from the last 2 years, block shots and your goalie makes the save he needs to.
  22. Mine comes and goes because of being at Montnana State lol
  23. lol, It makes me wonder what his gamer tag is. I happen to call my dad and ask him what he thinks of his team (he went to Minnesota). he said their play like they did aganst CC. To me this looks like the Minnesota team when Kagas was a freshman.
