  1. UND has the capairison over BC and UNH at 4th Edit: UND is listed ahead of BC and UNH. UNH and BC have the comparison over UND and BC has the compairison over UNH
  2. I'm surprised the University of Colorado and Colorado State University don't have D1 hockey. I'd like to some western schools pick-up hockey as a D1 sport. Montana and Montana State are two shools I'd like to see add hockey (there is a teir 3 Junior "A" league in the major towns/citys). Eastern Washington plays Canadain Colleges they could make the jump to D1, I think If the NHL ends up in Seattle maybe Washington adds hockey. To me it looks like UND is trying to expand college hockey (into Canada at least). The Winnipeg game might have been the start, if UND does schedule a game in British Columbia next season just another building block.
  3. It would have been nice to get him. Maine got Tyler Gjurich (53-44-97) in 53 games (2-3-5) in 2 playoff games.
  4. I mean it like, there's a player that was worth thinking of making an offer to. Anthony Petruzzelli was another player on the Bandits I said the same thing about he committed to Vermont, right now he is third in team scoring (29-32-61). I guess its wait to see what happens after the bye week.
  5. UND lost out on a defenceman that I thought was worth a look, Maddison Smiley of the Brooks Bandits. He is (16-19-35) in 33 games he was injured for about 2 months. Brooks Bandits have two forwards that could be getting looks. Dakota Mason a 20 year old is (23-38-61) in 51 games third leading scorer on the Bandits. The other forward in Madison Dunn 17 year old is (12-6-18) in 31 games. I'm still hoping Tanner MacMaster will commit to UND he's the leading scorer on Camrose Kodiaks (24-21-45) and his teammate Brett Njaa (18 years old) is second in scoring on the Kodiaks (19-23-42)
  6. I missed spelled his name James Massen played for Bismarck High, Quinn Fylling and Massen were seniors in 04-05.
  7. They finally put one there? I knew about the one in Great Falls I'm sure there will be one here in Bozeman soon. The only thing I'd go there for is the drinks.
  8. Shattuck's AAA team to keep an eye on: 1 Jeremy Brodeur (17-4-4) 1.68 GAA .936 SV% 5 shutouts 7 Frankie Spellman (29-38-67) 10 Georgy Gorodetsky (31-33-64) from Russia 18 Cody Kuster (29-33-62) 9 Mat Lewis (15-26-41) 21 Reid Brown (14-33-47)
  9. I'm guessing you're going to see the Prep team from Shattuck, the AA team from Shattuck plays Benilde on the same day at 5:00 pm same arena. If you get to see the AA team: 9 William Broduer (17-20-37) Jordan Greenway (20-32-52) while playing on the U16 team. I think they moved him up to the AA team. He should stand out since he's 6'5" and a forward. 3 Spencer Kuhlman is from Grand Forks (5-9-14) 18 Edward Lindelow (9-28-37) he's a 9th grader from Sweeden. 24 Nicholas Bond (19-25-44) 11 Vincent de May (16-21-37) Prep Team: 1 Luke Kania (21-1-1) 1.92 GAA .922 SV% 1 shutout 30 Anthony Brodeur (16-3-2) 2.39 GAA .925 SV% 4 shutouts 14 Chase Phelps (20-28-48) 9 Nick Petrella (10-23-33) 12 Anthony Petrella (21-22-43) 10 Tyler Vesel (23-39-62) 17 Max Becker (13-37-50) 11 Ryan Norman (21-33-54) 16 Alax Falconer (3-10-13) 21 Brett Boeing (21-14-35) 22 Willie Raskob (8-33-41) 23 Alex Rodriguez (22-15-37)
  10. I see Arthur Brey going to a school where he comes in as the starter, the only team I see that needs a goalie really bad is Colorado College. I don't see Arthur Brey coming here, but it wouldn't hurt to try and get him to come to UND. If UND does get Brey he could come in after Clarke leaves. I've mentioned Michael Fredrick on here in 38 games he's 36-1-1 6 shutouts 1.83 GAA .920 SV % on a team that 45-2-2 OTL.
  11. The guy trying to bring a NHL team to Seattle owns the AHL Chicago Wolves. The team could be called the Admrials since there is 6 naval bases there.
  12. I said this on Goon's Blog that a guy like Pattyn or MacWilliam is going to take matters in his own hands and send a message
  13. The SuperSonics will be the name of the NBA there, Isn't there a WHL team in the Seattle area already called the Thunderbirds?
  14. What would you name a NHL team in Seattle?
  15. I remember reading about it in a book, that I can't find since middle school. I always thought they were called the Seattle Seals. The arena in Seattle will be down by Safeco Feild and CenturyLink Feild. which is better then using Key Arena in the Seattle Center. I see the NHL being a big hit in Seattle like the MLS has been. http://seattletimes.com/html/hockey/2019441232_hockeytown16.html
  16. The Coyotes could be going to Seattle, if the arena deal got done in Seattle. There was talks that the Islanders would be heading to Seattle.
  17. I'd like to see Mitch and Mark with Parks but i don't see that happening.
