Still wouldn't matter if BU was the #1 overall they'd be in Fargo to avoid the inter conference 1st round match up if UND was a 4 seed.
-
Won't happen, you are seeded were you are seeded no grey area.
-
They'd be a 4 seed, if Duluth is the #1 overall they get the #16 team. This has been broken with the #1 team playing the #15 team
-
Yes, one of them would be in Fargo if UND or let's say Omaha or St. Cloud at a 4 seed and Denver and Duluth at a 1 seed. Most likely Duluth or Denver in Fargo if UND is a 2 or 3 seed. Then if St. Cloud or Omaha are a 4 seed they will go to one of the other 3 regionals. NCHC has the possibility to get 5 or 6 teams in.
-
If UND and Miami (if Miami gets in) are both 4 seeds and Duluth and Denver are 1 seeds. Duluth and Denver will not be in Fargo or Cincinnati, now if Duluth, Denver, and Western Michigan were all 1 seeds and UND and Miami were 4 seeds one of those teams would be in Fargo or Cincinnati the other two would be out East.
-
They will avoid putting Duluth, Denver, and Western Michigan in Fargo if UND is a 4 seed. The only way they would have two NCHC teams play each other in the first round is if it can't be avoided.

"We have a turd in the punch bowl."

But the WCHA won 37. For someone who is 46 you sure act like a 6 year old.

Could replace the Cupcake Classic.

I hope one day the NCAA selection committee doesn't follow Moy's bracket. I'm starting to believe the committee just waits for Moy to put out his bracket and uses it.

Didn't Potulney's dad demanded Blais take his kids and Blais told him where the door was?

It didn't look deflected at all Shaw was too far away and Poolman gave up on the back check.

There is more arrogance on GPL then there is ever on here, They wear it as a badge of honor.

But DaveK said the B1G has won the most national titles, I guess those are "alternative facts" that you speak DaveK.

North Dakota vs. Minnesota in Las Vegas - October 2018

That was the original agreement, if you are not in the tournament we play two at your arena. Bemidji was the first team to sit out. Then St. Cloud was suppose to get two home game against Minnesota. Did Minnesota or St. Cloud want to change it to home and home? I don't know, but I'd bet Minnesota change it to home and home after the played Bemidji the first year. Duluth got a home and home same with Mankato. You can say that it's not true, but the original deal with the NSCC was Minnesota plays two at the odd mans out building.
-
Duluth and St. Cloud have future scheduling agreements. The "we will play two games at the team not in the tournament arena" only lasted the first year.
-
Some want that to be an all Minnesota tournament. There seems to be an unanimous agreement that the cupcakes need to go.
-
It would be great if that would happen, but just getting Minnesota to play St. Cloud, Duluth, Bemidji, or Mankato on that day would be better then Minnesota playing Denver, Wisconsin, Michigan, or a Cupcake. We all know how much Minnesota loves cupcakes. They had Hockey Day Minnesota in Duluth and the Bulldogs weren't even part of it (I don't remember the Bulldogs playing Minnesota on that day, so if they did I stand corrected).

http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/sports/hockey/4208194-matt-wellens-column-dont-blame-fans-north-star-college-cup-burning-out I believe it failed because of the arrogance of Minnesota and FSN only caring about one team in Minnesota. Minnesota's charity to help out the other schools was just a dog and pony show to line their pockets and give everyone else less money. I see why Duluth and St. Cloud made agreements to play a series every year with Minnesota, so they could make money they lost with playing in the NSCC. Hockey Day Minnesota should have a game between the Gophers and one of the other Minnesota D1 teams, but no let's not do anything for the fans of college hockey in Minnesota.

I'm starting to question the Neutral Zone's star rankings for prospects.

Fleury right now is a good regular season goalie but a terrible playoff goalie.
