How about Brad gets on the phone with USA Hockey and ask how much they pay the men's team. I wouldn't be surprised if the men don't get paid anything unless they are at the World Championships or the Olympics.

He has been on the concussion thing for awhile and he's starting to make it personal. I agree the concussion issue needs to be looked at. He's been making things a personal vendetta and it gets old after awhile.

As far as I know outside of the Olympics they compete individually. Snowboarding is individual. They make their money of sponsorships/endorsements. When they are at the Olympics do they get paid the same I don't know. Should team sports for men and women get paid the close to the same? Sure they should and in some cases like the soccer teams, the women's should get paid more.

The other sports you listed are more individual and not really team sports, for example Lindsey Von is going to get paid more the someone else who is less known.

I'd say the men do, and that's if you use the men's and women's soccer teams. Where the women's team should get paid more then the men's team.

You did say months ago he would be retiring or "forced to retire." If Omaha want's to make money again might have to bring back football and wrestling.

Not sure if this is true but Quinn on the Mavpuck message board is saying that Omaha is so broke that they can't go on recruiting trips. If that s true then Alberts should have been fired a long time ago.

He made Omaha into a team that should be taken seriously, just couldn't get the team to show up for the conference playoffs and was robbed when Omaha played Michigan in the NCAA's in 2011.
