Yes, the finish of that game has got me excited for Friday night. Definitely confident that we won't let St. Cloud end our season either. Saturday night would be the right time to get our first win against Denver of the season.

For all the people saying that UND-SCSU will be the late game, that is an assumption. League will decide game times today. But yes, multiple factors make sense for that to be the case.

Did some research myself - looks like we need Minnesota State or Michigan Tech to win the CCHA; Cornell, Harvard, or Q to win the ECAC, and can't have Notre Dame or Michigan State steal the Big 10. I think we win tonight. Regardless of winning or losing tonight, winning Saturday will be very tough. I'll count that as a loss. I don't see us sweeping. Sunday will be a good game, but I think our guys have the will to get it done in a tight one (1 goal regulation win - 2 if the last is ENG). That would put us (in all likelihood) in a semi-final against Denver in St. Paul. We'd have the crowd on our side for that one, though the NCHC semi-final has been a bugaboo for UND for years. With backs up against the wall, and Denver maybe disinterested in expelling a great deal of energy on that game, we maybe find a way to win. Where would that put us in the pairwise? Enough that we wouldn't need to win the NCHC championship? Oh hell, let's just win the NCHC championship

I’m driving back from Bismarck to Grand Forks tomorrow with the biggest Bison fan in the office, so NDSU NOT punching a ticket to the dance was top of my priority list for the evening. If they get beat bad (at least 16, which is how many UND lost by), even better. I never rub stuff in, but at least he won’t be gloating.

So this tells me that the road QF games are NOT in the Midco contract. Glad that Midco wants to do it anyway.
