We were heavy on him…but he was a bit inconsistent in some bigger showcase event and I believe (total rumor) we wouldn’t totally commit when he was eligible and he chose UMD. Then he actually did well in the ushl this year. So our miss I suppose.

Definitely is, a lot of players will end up playing D1. As it relates to our program….the only uncommitted player i could see is Fischer. Pilgrim looks the part but he’s being spoon fed by shaugabay. His vision doesn’t look the part.

Win or not…their pipeline is so heavy. Going to be fun to be a gopher fan for a while

Oh boy…Bubs seems like an awesome guy. I sure hope not. In looking at the forest through the trees…it’s definitely not all positive. Since the chip they have won a good deal of conference titles, but really haven’t done much during NCAAs On the flip side…motzco is going to bring back at least two first rounders to play another year…because they like playing there so much.

I’m sure he does…but if a 3rd rd draft pick never plays and no one even mentions anything, obv he’s entering the portal. Him sitting a ton last year was odd; they mentioned his injury. His play down the stretch was actually solid for a true freshman. His first few games this year was really good too. There were a couple miscues in games 4-6. Clearly something happened at that point and he was permanently sat. My guess is that he goes to a big 10 school or DU

Phenomenal question…I’ve honestly never seen anything like this before. I mean I remember when Wolanin used to sit as an underclassmen so shaw could play (which used to garner plenty of eye rolls)…but this is straight wacky.

The big 10 is getting closer and closer to that #1 league (it will come)…these are giant programs and that will continue to get more and more press.

I like Moore a lot too. Super skilled but definitely has mental lapses.

Very very fair assessment. Based on my faith in this program and coaching staff…I’m going to assume there may be some sort of character issue or misalignment with following orders/game plan. Other than that, Johnson should be either 5 or 6.

Schloss does a good job…he’s more of a marketing tool though. He isn’t going to press hard like a journalist covering an NHL team. Im actually fine with that. We really don’t need negative press right now. I’ve heard indirectly/directly from one brother of a high end recruit and one dad of a higher end recruit that there is risk going the UND route. We need to keep the press positive and keep pulling in talent

Yeah..I guess my point was that he had another game with a sub 90% save percentage. Which is not good. But yet everyone is happy, because we won. I was too, but those numbers still aren’t good. and I’ve never sat here and bashed the goalies…numbers have been really bad all season, but I’ve put more on the team D. last night we locked down and DeRidder was solid.
