  1. Started lethargic but exactly where we need to be
  2. Really like tonight’s lineup other than i believe strinden should have stayed in the lineup and Moore should def be with Johnson on the second pair. I also would have been fine with Blake and gaber switching spots. It’s early though, we’ll see what happens tonight. I’ll say 5-2 with and empty net.
  3. I think it’s more than that…I feel like he’s trying to play for a contract. I noticed he seemed frustrated coming off the ice most shifts. Just needs to relax…play a simple game and take what’s given to him.
  4. I’d keep strinden in…I thought he may be a casualty but I’ve been fairly impressed. He goes hard. The current first line doesn’t impress me right now. We out skilled HC however i didn’t really notice that 1st at even strength. Gaber holding onto pucks a bit long takes away from schmaltz/constantini who like to dish and move it around. Put Blake with those two and gaber with OM.
  5. Agreed on the Hain line (sendon specifically) they were really good/noticeable. Super old, that will help us this year. Top line was noticeable too but gaber is still trying to do a bit too much. Hopefully the coaches are preaching a simple game mentality with him. I’d definitely get Kunz in over ness tonight as that line didn’t do anything. I didn’t notice James at all. I do think they had one flurry in the first. Overall, I came away impressed.
  6. To be really fair…they were throwing everything they could at the net. Basically Everytime they crossed the blue they let it go. We we’re holding onto pucks and playing a possession game. Waiting for the right opportunities. I actually loved it.
  7. I was teasing,just can’t believe he’s not in the lineup.
  8. Sounds like we’re in on L Hensler. So are goofs and Mich so it will be a tough get.
  9. I’m pumped too, curious about lines, healthy scratches, etc
  10. Not a great take :). Not only for obvious reason but also these guys play for production. Sitting older guys instead of giving them an opportunity to put up bigger numbers against lesser comp…not a good culture move. Lastly, HC beat BC last weekend so there’s that.
  11. Agreed…Gabers line was not good last weekend. At least not as good as they should have been given the comp
  12. What are you using…I’m just using a default web browser on my LG smart tv
  13. Now our stat guys have to record a shot for toba, I was wondering how long they were going to go.
  14. Under that’s a lot and I’m not sure we have the upperclassman skill to get him that many goals. Also, he scored 15 last year. You think he’s going to double? Not me.
  15. Me too…pretty dang dynamic if you ask me. Watching Miller was probably a plus last year. Has some snarl to his game too. Only knock is he isn’t the biggest kid but that’s slowly not being paid attention to as much the last few years. I’m hoping he has a big year and slips into the first.
  16. Thx, I was just trying to think through our 05s. Puck preps didn’t have us ranked very high. Seems decent to me.
  17. What does our 05 recruiting class look like?
  18. This. I get the shiny object effect but I truly down our top 6 is full of underclassmen. We may be in a world of hurt if that’s the case. Kunz, etc all put up similar numbers to those guys. They should all get looks…but again, I’d be shocked if they were all top 6. Blake should probably get the first look (at least on the pp) as he’s a wizard but D may be lacking. I could see James too at even strength filing in a w role.
  19. Ya…Jackson was an honorable mention. Author could have easily been a Sioux hater. #1 was a Mankato guy…Denver has two in the top 10 I believe edit- it was actually Cory Pronman. Not sure how much he knows about college puck but he is a high end hockey sport writer for sure.
