  1. Lund (Warroad) and Freddie Schneider (Edina). Griffin Sturm (st cloud)
  2. The Lund dman out of Warroad. I’ve tracked him for a while and he always put up very good stats for a dman. He’s also listed at 6’3”. Im assuming he has D1 offers but I never hear anyone talk about him. There’s obviously a difference between stats and the “eye test”. Either he’s sitting on offers quietly or it’s a factor of him being huge, playing a ton (in Warroad), and the fact it’s HS hockey (especially single A hockey).
  3. Their team isn’t as good. The past few years they were stacked.
  4. I’ll bet my youngest kids college fund the boys are in SF
  5. …well i can think of one thing he could do
  6. Fine by me. I like his game…plays his role well. Also, he only played a half year during his frosh season.
  7. Nolan Geerdes might be someone the coaches should keep an eye on. Ridiculously skilled. Should play another year of HS and then a yr or 2 of juniors. Could be a super nice overager.
  8. You are correct, even a stacked team doesn’t guarantee it…but if you don’t need a ton of luck, you better be stacked. Btw i never said a stacked team guarantees anything but a fun team to watch.
  9. Tough question. To me this team looks pretty dang good. They have the makings of being a super tough out come tourney time. It really depends who we play and how we play. But the answer will almost always land on no, it wouldn’t be considered a success. There are just so many good teams out there, to win the natty you need a ton of luck or a ridiculously stacked/old team.
  10. Haha you’ve lumped me in the wrong crowd my friend. Do guys do this? Did you go through middle school? Anyways, I never said the big10/blue blood HE schools would rule college hockey, I said they would dominate blue chip recruiting. And if we’re not already there…it’s pretty close. That doesn’t mean we won’t be good it just means we need to recruit better/smarter.
  11. I completely agree with your point, 100%. He does make some pretty acrobatic saves. But he’s also flopping around quite a bit and his rebound control is below avg. He was hot early on but has definitely been very very avg for quite some time now. His season stats are very avg for a top 5 team in the country.
  12. Bingo. Hockey can be weird. This team has looked really good this year. If w had a stacked deck (meaning we had significantly more talent than any other team in the country) I’d be more upset. We need to see if this was a fluke or more of a trend in the wrong direction.
  13. No they didn’t…alumni $
  14. This team doesn’t mind getting embarrassed do they
  15. We’ve scored 3 goals in two games…
  16. We just can’t generate any offense. Tough weekend.
  17. I know how this story ends.
  18. We even have the refs tonight…better hold this lead
  19. Where in the heck was the weak side wing
  20. That’s what Perron has to start doing…moving the puck.
  21. Oh you must be the troll…I don’t pay attention to users names on here
  22. Did you even read what I wrote?
  23. Our facilities are really nice (the best) and our tradition/fans base is awesome. But the fact is….recruiting to GF is a lot harder than it used to be. We also have some really nice recruits coming in. Some of the big 10 teams and def those Boston teams are just pulling in so many blue chips. It’ll be interesting how things evolve over the next 5-10.
