Sure it’s weird. But Pehrsson hasn’t necessarily been a stone wall this season. Look at his numbers. He’s had moments, sure. Him playing last night makes zero difference. Even Bubs knows that.

The gaber, berg line was terrible tonight. Bubs was playing the 4th line equally with them at ES.

One softy…team D was the glaring issue from my angle. Also, a ton of passengers tonight.

Things have been pretty dicey for a bit now. Maybe we overachieved the first few months. No idea. They looked the part, they can skate, have some size. Solid special teams play. But…things are trending down sharply. At the worst time.

What Hak did was incredible…outside of not winning the big one. His teams were very good. The bar was obv going to lower.

Actually trending matters a ton. You want to enter playoff time on the upswing. I’m sure folks would have been pissed with a loss tomorrow night against DU. I wouldn’t have, they’re a good team. But the last 5-6 weeks have been atrocious…we’ve only beat terrible teams for like a month now. Maybe longer.

I think it’s more that the Mavs have been out working them since the second shift of the game. Simple recipe.

Omaha is playing very hard though. Time for the boys to match it.

Crossing my fingers…tough because they have the pieces to make a run. But a team can’t be this inconsistent during the playoffs. Time to lock in and go on a run.

Cannot stand how inconsistent they’ve been playing the last month and a half. I’m feeling a huge third.
