A little intense....but I agree 100%. Next year will be a tough year to be a top nationally ranked team...not impossible but a lot tougher than that of this year's team. I know a lot of you will say we have high turnover every year and we are stil good, but, at some point is it too much to ask for another Natty? You're only as good as you are on paper.

Not 100% sure....but maybe. I am out of town next week on vacation and will most likely be swamped with work when I get back. I have to make sure I get most of my stuff done that week to focus on what's really important that weekend....another chip. Anyway, I can attempt to make it. Is it a big get together? I have tons of buddys that come down every year to the final five...we mostly hang out downtown St. Paul. Embassy suites...Holiday in, McGuverns, etc.

Yeah I know...I got what you were implying. I actually saw the comment you were referring to. Either way.....we're all Sioux fans, we just want to do well. Within each fan base there are different types of fans....at the end of the year we'll all be rooting for the same team. I tend to get a little extreme when they lose....a little pessimistic :o). I sort of figured I would get blasted by most of the overly optimistic folks. That's fine though.

Agreed. I generally agree with most of your posts. I'm not trying to bash this team, UND hockey is by far my favorite sports team to watch. I saw a few Natty's early in my life and have been through the ringer ever since. I just know one of these years we'll get it done....I just expect big things from this team as they should be a top 1-3 team in the country no doubt. I really didn't get that upset last year as they surprised me quit a bit.

Yeah I've seen him play.....he's very good. We can get to him though if we play better than we did this past weekend....which will happen I'm guessing. I bet Hak got on them last night.

Yeah....I think SCSU will split, but it wouldn't shock me to see Wisconsin take 3 or 4 from them. I played with Ianazzo this morning and he noted that SCSU is really kicking themselves for their lackluster performance last night.

I really like that Bowen kid from EGF....I watched him play over the Holidays. Smart.

I'm going to predict that SCSU splits with Wisconsin and MN takes 4 from BSU. I'm really hoping the boys come to play next weekend and take 4 from MSU, I'll be at both games. MSU has been good this year but if we come to play, we should win both and tie for the Cup.

That's the weekend I fell in love with Sioux hockey....I was like 12.

my father knows hockey extremely well so when he tells me the team didn't play up to their potential and that they should have beaten a team....I believe him.

Gersich hasn't had a point yet for Omaha but, by the looks of it, he was booted early in the first game.

Off to hockey guys, sorry for the pessimism but this team has to figure it out quick....I still think we get our 4th sweep next weekend though. Man that tie sucked.

You going out and calling me a gopher fan is ridiculous....couldn't you think of something better to come up with than that? Yes, I am a tad pessimistic about this team, but I still do root for them. I know the season isn't over yet, but I have also been around the game long enough to see what happens when a team is inconsistent at the end of the year. They typically lose a heart breaker that they shouldn't have lost in the first place. Our last title was a long time ago and I believe we've had some teams that should/could have won one by now.

Degrees 1. Not at either...watched Friday's game. My family was at both.
