Haha....yeah I could rattle off a few. But in all seriousness he is a very good player. I definitely agree with the previous 4-5 posters.
-
Wow. I guess I was banking on a sweep.
-
With the trickle down effect of the lockout some pretty good players are being sent to the East Coast. I initially was shocked Blood was sent down until I made sense of it. He should still in the "A" for the rest of the season now....solid D man.
-
I have a feeling Denver may struggle this year; even with a great goalie. I think they will find it hard to score until the end of the year.
-
Haha...right. And that guy bashing a very good player was completely calm through 2 thread pages of ranting.
-
Haha, you have been bashing this guy through two pages of threads. Guy....you are so wrong. Give it up.
-
Oh my gosh, who is this guy. I'm sorry because I love the Sioux hockey program so much but this guy is delusional. Budish is one of the best college hockey players in the nation. Haha. With him it's not just about numbers (although his are fine) its about being physical....which he does well. Sioux fans like this give all us educated Sioux fans a bad name. Parks is not better than Budish...yet.
-
Die hard Sioux fan here....yes Budish is awesome. He has all the size in the world and is extremly athletic. If Sioux Forever is saying otherwise he has NO IDEA what he/she is talking about. Budish will play in the NHL for 5-10 years.
-
I didn't choose Rowney, however, are all people who selected him out? I would think so.....reading the rules.
-
Give it up already.

Sorry to be rude but you must have a lot of time on your hands.

Week #2 - Rocco
-
Let's hope not, however, we should be just fine. Shore up on the D side of the puck and we'll shalack'm.
-
Besides him screwing up the goalie's name I thought the play-by-play was fine. Ease up, sweeney was a tad bland. I thought Hammer spiced up the period breaks (or pre-game) ten fold.
-
I had a few takeaways from the game: 1. They need to shore up their defensive game; those goals were not entirely the goalies fault 2. They must find someone else to fill the void left by Nelson on that top line.....Drake looked lost on that line; I'm going to say it again...put Rocco at wing on that top line, I know some like to say he is a natural center but if and when he makes the NHL he will have to learn how to play wing anyways 3. Back to Rocco, I thought he looked fast and everything that was advertised, however, he was a one man show, his line mates were definitely not up to his speed. All in all the guys looked a little rusty as far as their defensive game goes....but I had a blast watching. Should be a fun year.

Because I am slightly conventional I like 2 dmen on the point for a PP. But I have heard that Kristo may play the point while Rocco, Rowney and Knight play up front (with Mattson also playing the point). I really think Simpson will be good this year so it won't surprise me if they switch it up...or start the year with both of those guys playing the point. Hak does a pretty good job at seeing who gels so I'll leave it at that. But I hear this from someone who is close to the team.
-
I heard Macmillan will play on that top line to start the season. For some odd reason Rowney will center the third line, however, will play on the top PP unit. Mattson will be the QB on the top unit, while Schmaltz will be QBing the second PP unit. I'm not sure where Simpson fits in just yet, regardin his PP time, however it must be with Schmaltz on that second unit. I'm expecting a breakout year from Simpson this year.
-
Haha...I like it!

Kristo

Maybe a little but I doubt it. He has a great offseason and he has looked great for the Islanders this summer. Depending on how long the lockout is to last, I see him having a great AHL year. He had already figured out the college game and lets get one thing straight....he didn't go to UND for the education. He went there to get to the NHL. However, I too was worried with his terrible numbers at the tail end of the AHL season last year.
-
Honestly, I think UND has a stronger team on paper (than BC). I am not going to take anything away from the Goofs because, on paper, they're stacked. But BC lost significant production from last year in Kreider and Doumlamin (sp?).

Weren't we just talking about the partying within the hockey team in another thread? Well they party regularly, however, this must have been "above and beyond" for the suspensions to be handed down. From what I heard they had a pretty huge party in which the police were called. As there were under-agers (on the team), the police let them off the hook but called the school. This is pretty normal however, I'm torn that they all have to sit out (the same game). This is nothing different than any other year, however, with the NDSU and PSU issues, UND is being proactive to the culture change within college athletics.

what does it cost to park at the Ralph ?
scpa0305 replied to Fetch's topic in Tickets wanted / for sale
We have two spots....but I think you need to be a season ticket holder. GA parking is $5-10 I believe. -
Nice thanks. I figured it would be.
