None of the F’s showed up. It was worse than most are making it out to be.

They did not play well. 5v5 play was really bad. As bad as I can ever remember. Next to no ES scoring opportunities in either game.

Yep, that’s really bad. I’d be curious to know how many scoring chances we had the entire weekend. It seemed to be an all time low from what I can remember.

That was a really bad weekend for the boys. The lack of offense the entire weekend is very concerning. MSU was completely rebuilt last year.

He’ll be playing in the NHL as an 18 year old. He’d have to accelerate his schooling. i agree though, when he’s 17 there will be zero reason for him to not be playing against older kids/men. The WHL is looking way too easy for him. I could honestly see an Austen Matthews situation for him, go play in Switzerland for a year. I believe his dad played over there.

Completely agree. Titles have some luck to do with them…but the law of averages say a good team should get lucky every once in a while. I really like our coaching group…but the one concerning thing (recently) has been the lack of NCAA wins. I mean, dropping a FF game against a high end team is one thing…but consistently losing rd 1 games (when, in many cases, we’ve been the favorite) is getting a little frustrating. Just my 2 cents
