I'm blown away as well with how bad this conference has been. Hopefully this is the outlier year, I still am shocked when I see 5-6 teams with more losses than us so far ahead of us in the PW. The fact Mankato gets the nod instead of us is a crime.

At the end of the day a very veteran NDSU team played a pretty avg big 12 team that had almost completely replaced their offense and defense. It was almost a best case scenario for the bison. Also the bison still had to win on a last second drive. K state won their bowl game but overall this year it was a down year. Most of you have to remember that k states schedule and the gophers schedule is so much harder than the bisons (obviously). The bison had one reasonably hard game all year (kstate). Kstate and the gophs have somewhat hard games (sorry SEC fan here) every game except the cupcake fcs games. What I'm trying to say is that if NDSU had to play a big ten schedule they may have had 1....maybe two big ten wins against the cellar teams.

So this weekend actually hurt us. What a mess.

I don't know man....watched last nights game and bemidji had just as many actual scoring chances as we did. 95% of our shots were layups for that tendy. If Rocco would have dished that pill instead of going logo we win. BSU looked so bad.

Very true....however over the last few weeks he has looked like one of the all around best defensemen in the country. The guy can score, he can play the PP, he blocks shots like a man child. Are you taking those things into consideration or simply noting other defensemen around the league have more points?

I am guessing Cam is totally fine with this trade. Fargo may be one of the worst teams in USHL history and the fact there are (were) 3 UND recruits on this team had me nervous. Time to see how Cam does in Waterloo.

Is UND recruiting Ryan Norman (SSM)? I have heard a ton on him however I can't find any link verifiyng commitment other than a Goofer website noting he is a recruit (which I am guessing means he's verbally accepted). I didn't know his pops played in GF.

Earliest stats on ludwig, that I can find, start with UND. His numbers while at UND were not bad at all for a stay at home defenseman. His senior year he had 31 pts in 47 games. I was not trying to bash this kid at all, he's obviously got talent or we would have never given him an offer to begin with. I typically see where even the stay at home defensemen will hav decent numbers until the hit some sort of wall (as they move up from league to league). Even Macwilliam had 29 pts in 57 games his last year in juniors. Players peak at different times though, I'll continue to follow this kid. Mantha's numbers are only slightly better however he is in a much tougher league.
