  1. I think he'll get a chance to take it early. You must have read Schloss' Herald aritcle.
  2. The only forwards that are ready are Hoff and Jost. Judging by your senior forward total, Berry will either have to find 2 more or bring in someone that probably isn't 100% ready. Mattson is going back to GRHS after a disappointing dozen USHL games; Keane and Bowen are struggling. Collin Adams isn't tearing up the USHL, but he's putting up some points. He might be young. Other than Hoff and Jost, I can't seem to find one of our forward recruits that are producing at the moment. I could be missing someone.
  3. Which name isn't bland?
  4. Went Nodaks, could live with any I guess. RR is a strong #2.
  5. Should be nice, I've been slightly worried about some of our commits playing in the USHL. None of them, other than Hoff now, are doing anything.
  6. Hrynkiw may be getting close to passing Johnson but everyone needs to remember we have been playing some of the worst teams in the country. The one good thing about Hrynkiw is that he seems to be relatively calm in their where Johnson always looked shakey early on in games. It's Tomeks net when he's back.
  7. the NCHC is snakebite against those higher end Hockey East teams. I never saw DU getting swept out there.
  8. The previous poster quoted Teddy as well. But your point is accurate, I'm guessing many people said derogatory statements about Native Americans back in those days.
  9. Absolutely. Undergrad is still not all that tough. This kids would simply have to have passing grades, that's all. Not tough for a kid who could have gotten into Harvard. Get some C's for the rest of the year and drop out.
  10. Oh sure. He would be at BC for more than one year, just like he'll play this year and next year in Kitchener.
  11. He won't be playing against professionals, he'll be playing against very good 16-19 year olds.
  12. Exactly, he's not leaving because of grades. Everyone knew that Kitchener was going to be a very solid team this year he could have went right away and not left his team hanging. I have no problem with kids going the CHL route but bailing on your squad after 5 games is terrible and shows a lack of character. I hope the kid stays healthy and all but he's no longer one of my fav's you can say that.
  13. This kid would be taking generals, lets no kid ourselves college is no longer all that hard (at least the general class and most undergrad classes, especially the majors most elite hockey players take). At least get through the year, then drop out. Don't leave your squad after 5 games. York could have, and would brought in another talented player to add depth. 5 games?
  14. Great post!
  15. Right, and this kid was initially committed to Harvard. I'm sure his grades are just fine. He thinks he's on the fast track to the NHL.
  16. you have to be kidding me.
  17. .....and we may be the Fighting Hawks.
  18. Shocking news. Bracco is leaving BC. Not sure what the deal was but he did have three points the other night night against CC. Although he was held pointless in the other 4 games.
  19. There was a 1% difference.
  20. Interesting he's doing well in the USHL right now.
  21. or we could vote Nodak and wouldn't be stuck with FH :)
  22. I agree, unless one of them hits >50% I would hope to see a showdown between the top two.
  23. I know but this poll gets me thinking. If Nodak voters jump ship to RR I'll probably have to follow. I just wish it was RR and Nodaks.
  24. I hope the Nodak supporters don't jump ship simply because they came in 3rd. They only trailed RR by 1%.
  25. Sorry I was assuming none of the three would receive > 50%. If none receive > 50% I would hope there would be another vote off with the final two names remaining. FYI - from GF....Nodaks was never used as a slang term around me.
