  1. Poolman can become a free agent this august and sign an entry level deal with any team that offers. Or he could come back to UND, hopefully have a huge year and sign a normal deal with any offering team August of 2018. Yeah, I'm sure Winnipeg is going full court press right now.
  2. So it sounds as though poolman had surgery and is out 4-6 months. The more I think about it, why wouldn't he come back and play next year? After next season he'd be 24 (considered a 25 yr old for NHL free agent rules) and bypass his entry level altogether. I guess the risk would be if he further injured himself. His other two options would be to sign now with Winnipeg (ELC) or go free agency and sign on 8/15 (ELC). Interesting options. bob McKenzie was talking about Poolmans options.
  3. So what do the men get? The viewership for the women's national team is no good.....where is all that money coming from (USA hockey is a non profit). Also, those wages seem really high.
  4. Friedman gave bucci credit. Bucci also called Iacopelli as well, which just went down. Bucci's actually pretty locked in.
  5. Huh? I guess I'm not following. Friedman just tweeted that he's signing with VAN. Bucci called it.
  6. Strickland's definitely in the know. I'm still leaning that he is right. I would guess that Pogo is going to finish out the semester and start in the A next year. Again, hopefully he has a change of heart and come's back next year.
  7. It's been pretty quite on the Pogo front, I thought we would have heard more on that. Hopefully Andy Strickland's tweet was off.
  8. IF he stays (which is a big if), there is no way he stays through his junior year. Let's just get him back for next year.
  9. Bucci is tweeting that both Griffen Molino and Matt Iacopelli are leaving WMU.....that hurts. Both were soph.'s
  10. I completely agree. It's like reviewing a touchdown pass to see if any of the oline flinched (that the ref's missed).
  11. I read that this morning too. I wouldn't put too much stock in that but it does make me feel better
  12. No, some played all year in the A.
  13. It seems as other teams are getting some of these guys back. Some of those top boy from northeastern all noted they were coming back, Schuldt went back to SCSU even though he got a great offer. I wonder what gives?
  14. I think they'll make it.....but right now the USHL is a very very tough league for them. Keane was supposed to be a more offensive player and did put up good numbers in the MJ but has struggled mightily in the USHL (22 pts in 77 games; -7 on a solid team). Not sure what the deal is there.
  15. Keane and senden are a ways out. But we do have some nice kids coming in over the next 2-3 years.
  16. I believe he's 100% gone. I'm sure there's some discussion on what to do with his injury.
  17. He can choose both.
  18. You're right, probably shouldn't have said bad. More very average. .65 pts per playing top 6 role the entire year? That's average.
  19. I get a natty team unloading but losing all these guys when they struggled throughout the year hurts. I heard that pogo was leaving all along but due to him having a bad year I though there was a chance he'd stay.
  20. That would make sense. Coming back next year would have helped his O game. I understand that when you graduate u get a job. But I don't like this trend of kids leaving after three because they've graduated already.
  21. I believe he's graduating this spring. Also, he may carve out a 3rd 4th line role eventually, it will take some time though.
  22. Who's letting these kids take so much summer school?
  23. Pogo likely to sign, I believe this was expected. He'll play a couple years in the A before he gets his chance.
  24. Keller signed
