Hands down Shaw was the player of the game. And it was his best game of his UND career. He played with emotion and hammered the stat sheet. Gaarder looked very good too.

The rink was a joke. Boys won though, nothing else really matters. Always fun to beat the goofs.

Blaisdell appears to be more highly heralded than Rizzo. Actually all of those other guys (Pinto, Caulfield, Donavon, etc) appear to be more highly heralded....at least from the NHL scouts eyes. However, I could see Donavon playing a year in the USHL as he appears to be taking the "extremely patient" development approach. Which is A ok in my book.

It’s not a must win because some teams can go on crazy runs. But I’m not sure this team can make that kind of run. Need the win tonight. A big win would be great for the boys moving forward.

? Not sure I’m following. I was just saying that I’m concerned, but I haven’t given up all hope on the season. Non conference games are huge and I don’t trust this team having a poor non conference record.
