Yeah,but our pp needs serious work. We score from time to time. But it’s very clunky and not in synch. It’s been that way for a while now.

Some of those penalties were bogus but some were real too. I’ve played hockey my whole life and I’ve learned one thing as far as officiating goes. When you control possession, more likely than not, you’ll get the pp’s. When you’re chasing the game, you’ll be on the pk a lot. The reffing wasn’t good whatsoever, but besides several minutes in the first, we were chasing that game. Boys probably got gassed during the second, that’s understandable. And you’re right, guys like mismash, kawaguchi, Adams, etc didn’t even play. Either way, the boys need to relax a bit and come out buzzing tonight.

Boys will need a lot more energy tomorrow. Overall a decent game though St. Cloud seemed to want it a bit more, but cam was huge. Jones hasn’t been quite the plater he was earlier. Hopefully he comes back strong tomorrow. Hopefully Hoff is back as well.

I doubt it, not including him simply to gain an advantage for one weekend is a stretch. Motzco’s popularity has skyrocketed since the gold last year. If he does it again he’s going to start piling on high end recruits....or get a job at a big school.

Oh, I know. And I really do hope they win. I love that tourney. That’s why it’s been tough to see UND go two years in a row without a player in it. It’s a huge recruiting booster as well.

I am still so confused how he was left off. He has better numbers than almost every player on that team. Playing in a tough conference. I hope he blows up SCSU this weekend. I’m guessing he comes out blaze’n

An absolute travesty, I feel terrible for the kid. He absolutely deserved to be there. Chad Krys as well. Not sure what Motzco was thinking.

...and this was an outlier. Keane’s numbers are worrisome but as someone pointed out, a good team needs role players as well. Some point getters don’t do well with a transition to a different role in college. I know Bowen’s numbers in juniors weren’t good whatsoever but he’s been valuable this year when he’s been on the ice. Good bottom six forward. Great skater and has a great motor. One of the better penalty killers as well. You need those guys as well. Maybe keane could fit in similar to that. We’ll find out.

I’d rather have Hoff center guchand Adams. Although they are listed as a 3rd line, they pack a ton of offensive punch. I don’t really like Bowen with them because he isn’t the best puck distributor/point getter. Great skater/motor but I don’t think he’ll be that effective with those two. Could he shift over to the wing with simo and smith? That would be a dangerous 4th. JJ- Rhett- pogo gersich-Jones- mismash adams - Hoff - guch smith - simo - Bowen thats a winner right there. I sure wish Yon could get in somewhere, he’s pretty good. Going forward I’m not so sure where Olson fits in. Also,JJ sitting?
