  1. I know. He was making some lazy circles all night.
  2. I haven’t noticed him all game, until now. It’s not that he’s lazy he just isn’t that dynamic. This is who he is. His number last season were inflated (significantly) by who he was playing with.
  3. I’m think back 10-15 years...this has to one of the worst stretches I can remember. Not only the inability to win a game, but the way we’re losing. Just can’t score. Zero threat
  4. It’s that bad. Blown away. Could definitely use better coaching.
  5. Thome’s rebound control looks scary right now.
  6. ...that should have been stopped. Terrible d there though
  7. You actually thought that goal was on cam? He had absolutely no shot.
  8. 6-2 good guys. Adams and kawaguchi hit the stat sheet a bit
  9. Bingo. But I think you just made the overall point. Going into the next 1-2 years, it appears we are lacking skill.
  10. Very true, those three are definitely struggling however senden and keane are going to be bottom 6 players. Especially senden, he’s never been a scorer but more of a penalty killer...similar to Dixon Bowen. Numbers are a concern though. Keane is a guy that is going to be in and out of the lineup...maybe. I wouldn’t even put him that close to a Yon type player. Hain is another player that has fallen. Last year he was projected as a top 2 round player. He’s since fallen of a cliff because his skating ability is getting exposed against the better comp he’s playing against. He’s a guy that could almost use another year in juniors or have a limited (bottom 6) role for und next year. Probably a 3-4 year player which is good long term.
  11. Agreed he has taken off a bit, nice to see. June ‘01 that’s ok.
  12. Costello has struggled this year. I’m assuming he’ll spend another 1-3 years in juniors.
  13. I get that but he has 7 more points in the same amount of games as Donavan and his goal total alone almost equals mageau’s pt total. I get this whole “his line carries” him shtick but every time I look at their box scores his name shows up the lost. He must be tiny. Has St. Cloud or Duluth written all over him. Maybe northern Michigan
  14. I wonder what the story with Garret Worth is. Duluth kid and is uncommitted I believe. I know you have to be real careful with MN high school kids butbhes scoring in piles.
  15. He also stuck his knee out too, which thankfully he missed. Nuts
  16. Agreed Costello definitely could use 1-2 years more and it would be nice if Randklev could play a full year. As far as gersich goes, he’s a nice play but I don’t think he’s ready for pro hockey. He could probably fill a bottom 6 role on an AHL team however I’m not sure why a guy would leave early for that. Stay another year and continue to develop. His soph numbers were solid however I think everyone knows that Boeser and jost played a huge part in that. His numbers dwindled as the season wore on. This year I think we’re seeing the real player...20 in 28 isn’t really lighting the world on fire. He’s definitely heated up a bit though recently, 10 in 10. Either way, players shouldn’t leave early with those numbers unless they’ve already graduated I guess.
  17. Haha. Players also have to think about playing time. There is a risk to choosing UND over BSU. Most years, und has a bunch of talent.
  18. Definitely possible. Overager that put up huge point totals in the BCHL. His line mate also went to BSU. It could have came down to scholarship $
  19. Haha I was waiting for something like this.
  20. Definitely a good post. If all the boys are healthy, I’d give Thome a game in CC. Friday night.
  21. More of an attitude/never playing thing. Had nothing to do with talent
