  1. I agree with you there. I've clearly stated I don't think he's the answer, but you can't fire him now. The earliest is with only a couple games left. Then you let Kotelnicki give it a trial run and open up the job up. For the record, I really like Kotelnicki. His special teams were Beamer-ballesque. Just unreal how you could almost count on a blocked kick a game the Dan Hendrickson/Goska year. That isn't an accident. Even though he is defensive coordinator, the defense isn't his fault right now, IMO. I don't think he gets full ownership of that only a spring and 3 games in.
  2. We agree again. Again call it impatient, but I really wish it wasn't, "we can win because their qb is down." Regardless of that impatience and my obvious expressed frustration, I think it's important to state that most likely I am making the drive from Williston and will cheer them on. Granted, I could easily get disgruntled again, but it should be more competitive than last week. That is mainly what I am asking for. I understand its unreasonable to run the table on SDSU, the Griz, Bobcats, and EWU at this point in time, but competitiveness would be appreciated. My whole frustration stems from a sincere belief that a great coach doesn't get his tail whipped with his own guys. His horse is always at least in the race.
  3. They do deserve respect I was there at every game ans streamed away games. Even stayed at the USD. On that note though, can you think of any coaching decision that might have helped then win that outright? Ill give you a hint, it was a quarter late and against cal poly.
  4. We aren't as good as half a great west title and not as bad as one of the three butt kickings we've taken from the class of the big sky?
  5. I count the transition. It happened. People paid to see it. You can blame Lennons recruits if you want and say he left the cupboard bare for Muss, but if my memory serves correct those recruits at least hung in there with montana (and in montana). They did it with a physical brand too. I would be more willing to wait if there was anything done in the last few years to inspire hope. Our signature win is half a great west title which the opposing team thought was so bad they canned the coach in a matter of hours I would be more patient like you if there was anything in the last 5 years to inspire. Instead every chance we have to make a statement its not even competitive. Most of this forum's expectations for the coming weeks is "hope the scores aren't too bad." I agree the recruits he has coming in look good but I was also lead to believe Joey Bradley was going to make me forget about Danny Freund.
  6. As far as body of work I was including the rest of his awe inspiring run as head ball coach.
  7. No you don't just have games that bad unless you are bad. For reference, the last time craig bohl lost by more than 15 points ( 2 scores) was 2005. How many times have we got just killed in the last two years? How much more of a sample size do you need to see a full body of work?
  8. I missed one game in my college career. Since I've moved, I frequently drive from Williston for games. I've preached more positivity about this program in the last 6 years than anyone I know, and a person has had to stretch to make that argument in that time frame. After Saturday and the blowouts from last year, I'm just over Chris Mussman coached football teams. I just can't imagine getting excited for them right now. I keep going to games waiting for that signature, but just end up feeling like Charlie Brown after an attempted field goal. The absolutely only way I can see myself wanting him around next year is for him to win out, but I'm not even sure he should get to finish the season. Without something like that to bring me back in, it just kinda seems like a waste of a gas tank.
  9. If not someone like ndsu s defensive coordinator, I want some whose coached some kind of champion. Idk if they are some power conference coordinator we could pick off?
  10. In my head muss is out. I think after yesterday the thread should be whose the next coach. Ill get bashed here and quoted on bv for this but what about Klieman or whatever su's coordinators name ? After yesterday I'm not above it.
  11. Whatever man... this is close enough right, we should be happy with this team and this result because we are close? Blame Dale Lennon he left the cupboard bare for the next 27 years.
  12. I get that but what about mussman makes you wanna open up thebpocket book
  13. About not able* I don't know how to edit
  14. Seriously. ..I'm not donating again until mussman is out. I've talked to former players, he's not it. They aren't able him. Call him out if you want; my finger is at the scoreboard.
  15. I've talked to players who played under him. Worthless.
  16. I'm done with mussman.. I'm not anonymous. My full name is my user name. Just awful. Fire mussman.
  17. Griz fans won't be the only ones coming in from the west. Just headed to make the 5 hour trek from Williston for this game. Too excited to stay away for it!
  18. I'll buy you a morphine drip and any other liquid you want if this holds true
  19. My goodness, he was the only linebacker that held his own to me.
  20. Those two shouldn't be mentioned in adjacent sentences.
  21. Dear God, do I hope you're Nostradamus. In the meantime, where do I get a glass of that Kool-aid?
  22. agree 10x... Our other receivers are good, but I don't think it's a coincidence that our dead stretch involved not targeting Hardin a few series in a row.

    SDSU at UND

Very well could have been. Good point. Throwing against a relaxed defense probably helps, but I've always thought there always seems to be a spark when you switch qb's no matter the team or how good the qb.
