If I was the color commentator, I can promise you I wouldn't use cliches. I would put in the work ahead of time and prepare the right way. I wouldn't just go in there and fly by the seat of my pants. I'd give it my 110% every night and wouldn't just take the easy way out. I'd dig deep for thoughtful analysis. I'd try to eliminate any mental mistakes. If I had a rough call, I'd make sure to turn it up a notch and step up to show I belong at that level. One thing that's for sure, I'd take advantage of my opportunities (as color commentator).

I like the mango one (I think that's it)... somehow the black cherry one is the lucky one. I love black cherry stuff usually, but not in Ralph Dacqueri's. I have to respect the magic of the Dac-trick.

I'll replace him, but I have demands. 1) I get to do play by play during the second. I think I'll get bored doing color the whole time. 2) food vouchers... pretty much anything I want. We're gonna go through some nachos, no olives or the deal is off. 3) I'll keep it off camera, but it's good luck if I have a dacqueri. I don't even really like them, but it's the principal of the thing. I'm not sure it will hurt performance. 4) My elite hockey insight can leave something to be desired, so when I compensate by just making up words, I want zero sass.

I'd be down with that; I don't always love the music choice they play (I'd like a little more rock, less "everyone dance!" music), so I'm prime for a change. The NHL playoffs showed off some cool organ music. Who was it again who was doing the game of thrones intro on the organ. That was actually pretty cool.

I'm assuming he gets the running start then? BTW, did anyone else scrimmage against Canadian schools or schools from different classes in high school? So you'd be 11 man, and then on defense you'd play 9 man, or the Canadian/vice versa option.

Personally, I had no idea Caggiula played football. If I was Brad Berry, I wouldn't think it was a good idea to let me face 11 guys, let alone on a playing surface he's not used. I wouldn't risk it with someone who I think could be a Hobey Baker Finalist this year. Some may call it a bold strategy, I call it dumb. P.S. When did he get the nickname "bulldog"? Seems like there would be a more fitting breed for how shifty he is (not trying to suggest he's not tough like a bulldog).

it's not gonna be ready for this weekend, at least I highly doubt it. The guy who was working on it had a combine fire, which held things up. Should be ready for conference play. Walleye fry this weekend though.

This is a college sports fan forum, so forgive me as I dip into the frivolous for a second. I just watched the walk out for Virginia Tech vs Ohio State. I hope we figure our walkout/hype video out. I personally have found it a little lack luster in the past. Man, that atmosphere looked sweet in Virginia tonight
