I was just trying to illustrate how unlucky we've been at times. Agree, didn't capitalize on some second chances but really got the raw end of the deal in the examples I mentioned. Does Duluth even get to OT had they had to play the night before and are the even playing? I guess they capitalized on our misfortune.

2020 was very unlucky. Michigan having to forfeit in 2021 was very unlucky too.

Nothing cheap about it. You also have to consider youth travel starting at squirts in many places. Hotels, meals, fuel, association fees plus equipment. Z71 Suburban's ain't cheap either.

How bout North and South combining to field a team? That is hard for me to comprehend schools of that size needing a coop. Bismarck did the right thing for growing the girls game. Sure it's not without growing pains but it was right for the growth of hockey.

me too, those team's weren't good even with a couple high end players - was it 96 they finally got back to the WCHA Final Five? And of course 97.

That's too bad Omaha has been a staple in the USHL for many years. I'd rather see the USHL expand. It's going to be interesting with the USHL competing with the CHL as the NCAA pipeline.

Thought they played decent this weekend - its early. Mankato, Augie, n Providence are all decent teams - we are ok.

They did it in the second against Providence - I like that team

Less skilled teams are gonna trap nothing we don't know. Boys did a nice job breaking trap like you said, especially in the second. They got a forecheck established and it was all over from there. I like it when they grind other teams down which I don't think happened enough last year. Haks teams seemed to do that more than in recent years. It looks like this team can do both - play north south, stretch out neutral zone while also establishing zone time.

Jammer is a man amongst boys. Was at Providence game and it's way easier to see in person than on TV.

I think 6 is going to be a special player as well. So skilled and is an elite skater.

Was there - they absolutely dominated neutral zone second period on. I like the second period team that established forecheck and possessed the puck as well.
