    Good start so far. Sac St's shooting a high percentage but we've built a nice lead. Hopefully their hot shooting cools and we can get a big halftime lead.

    Why would it be more highly ranked? Nobody beat anybody of note in non-conference play and we all beat up on each other in the conference season. If you want to go by RPI, the entire league had 2 victories against teams in RPI top 50. The best win for the conference? Our win over NDSU who sits at 39. The Summit vs Big Sky argument has been debatable in the last handful of years but it is not debatable this season.

    Not necessarily. Parity in women's basketball doesn't really exist. The top seeds dominate even more than on the men's side. Last year UConn beat Idaho by 68 in the first round. The difference between the pounding SDSU was going to take and USD will take is probably minimal. Same for our girls if they make it. Most likely going to be a blood bath.

    Probably more likely to be televised on a Thursday night than the Saturday of opening weekend.

    That would also give us a much more winnable game than going straight to a #2 seed.

    The app is great and it has Air Play capability so you can mirror in HD if you have an Apple TV. That's been my preferred method of viewing down the stretch.

    Wasn't able to watch the game but that's exactly what I thought when I heard he sat out the end of the game. Huff with a chip on his shoulder could be dangerous.

    Jones took us to the NCC title game in just his second season, won two Great West tournaments, and in two seasons in the Big Sky will finish no worse than 3rd. He is 100% not getting fired this year. If next season goes in the toilet then maybe we can have this discussion but it isn't happening this year.

    Well anybody COULD be dancing. Big Sky is one of the only conference tourneys that doesn't feature all conference members.

    Nice to see us getting back to pre-transition type numbers. Bet the the men flirt with a 2000 fan average and the women make a big jump next year.

    SUU's strength of schedule is significantly higher than all those teams.

    A couple Big Sky tournament games at the Betty would probably push that difference up close to 1000.

    We also had two of our largest crowds against NDSU and SDSU. Non-con could actually be higher than conference for us this season.

    I didn't either until I went back to look. I'm glad the senior day recognition was Saturday and not tonight. Need as few distractions as possible to come out guns blazing. Don't want to dig ourselves a hole like we did against MSU.

    Since winning their first 6 home games and 7 of their first 8 overall they've gone 3-7 with just one win on the road and back to back bad losses on their home floor.

    The first game was also part of a stretch where UNC was crushing everyone on their home floor. They haven't played at that level in quite some time and we get them on our home floor this time. I like our chances.

    Montana still has the inside track at the 2 seed. Winner tonight essentially guarantees themselves a 2 or 3 seed provided they knock off SUU.

    Tonight's game is huge. I want to avoid a possible meeting with Weber in the semis.

    Eastern Washington up 11 on UNC at halftime. An EWU win would pull us into a tie for 2nd with the tie breaking game next Tuesday. Gonna be a fun stretch run.
