I'd say the positive is that they aren't in the 300s and the gap between 4th and 9th isn't that significant. Plus, it is early. Some of this will shuffle went conference season gets going.

UND have had two tough road games against Portland and Iowa State. This one tonight is more winnable. Idaho has lost to Denver, Omaha, and Utah Tech, but they did beat Pacific and just hammered Northern Illinois. This would be a good team to get the offense back on track, as their adjusted defense is near the bottom of the nation. Need to find a way to slow down Moffitt (Guard) and Jones (Post). Would love to see Omot have a big name tonight to build some confidence going into Summit League play. Also, lets get the defense back on track. Time to get win #6 out on the Palouse! Game is on ESPN+

I saw that and the first thing out of my mouth was: if you werent going to get the first down, why didn't you slide down in bounds. Didn't like the playcall on 2nd down to drop back and pass where Dalton got sacked. You got 4 yards running the ball, try it again. Still, Dalton made a perfect throw on that last 3rd down play they had that would have continued the possession... if only Hill had maintained possession.

It won't close but it will swing back towards being closed once more of the kids realize that they are making moves they later regret and that will give more players pause about leaving.

Going to need him the rest of the way as Jimmy G broke his foot and probably has played his last down as a Niner.
