  1. You honestly think he has a better arm than Landry? You do realize Landry had a 90+ mph fastball in highschool right? Landry had a very very strong arm. Bradley not so much. Coaches commented on Landry's arm strength, they've mentioned anything but that with Bradley. Next time you see a UND practice watch Bradley throw and then watch the other QBs throw, particularily Hendrickson and you should notice a big difference in velocity.
  2. good point. I just wonder where he would go, his production was very poor last year and he wasn't that noticable to me when he was healthy. I wish we had one more forward line to fit all of the players in. I feel like the scratches next year are going to be quality players that would otherwise be able to contribute which I guess speaks to the depth that will be there next year barring injury like this year.
  3. I think Hansen has the job all but wrapped up. Can you define what you mean by good arm? From what I saw in his passes last year Bradley had an average arm at best by high school standards. Maybe my standards are too high but when someone one hops a bubble screen to the field side I don't see a good arm.
  4. updated possible combos Saunders Gothberg Maris Forbort Matson MacWilliam Schmaltz Simpson Gleason (could be a huge, but talented, mess if Jones comes) Parks Knight Kristo Rowney Grimaldi ODonnell McMillan McMillan Koules Pattyn Chyzk St. Clair obviously before mitch is able to play it will look different Parks Knight Kristo Rowney Grimaldi ODonnell St. Clair/Chyzk McMillan Koules Pattyn St. Clair/Chyzk Senkbeil/Gaarder
  5. any word on the scrimmage from anyone who was there?
  6. Greg Hardin absolutly dominated todays practice. He caught everything even with tight coverage. The offense took a huge step forward today. Even with the wind passing was on point. Hansen and Bradley each connected on 40+ yard TD throws.
  7. BC is winning for the same reason that the SEC can't be touched in football. Team speed. Much like the SEC elite they are just faster than everyone else.
  8. I think he was giving the perspective of the ignorant FBS view point. I think we have a really good chance of winning and am actually expecting it. The team looks lightyears ahead of last years team on offense and the D is more athletic especially at linebacker.
  9. great day for some spring ball. not a cloud in the sky. hopefully someone on here attends practice today, it should be a good one with the weather.
  10. nothing wrong with getting stomped by a guy in a higher weight class. he hung in there for a bit but that was like a big brother little brother fight.
  11. THE University of North Dakota ManBearPigs? Half man half bear and half pig, it's a perfect mascot.
  12. Its also borderline projection. Since he/his school will be screwed if the morons win he is saying 'no, it's the NCAA that will be screwed'
  13. I get it now. It's so obvious. DaveK is Rob Port.
  14. It was a figure of speech, you're familiar with those right? Besides is one calling the kettle immature while throwing the equivalent of a 'but I want to keep it' temper tantrum directed at an organization that has the ability to put enourmous establishments to their collective knees all the while denying the immenent consequenses to a beloved school to the point of the denial forming a psuedo reality in ones mind ironic? Or is it just sad?
  15. Actually the world is going to end when you get and HDTV and stop using floppy disks. Hows that for a theory?
  16. The NCAA sucks, they are a bully, and..... they have us by the balls and then some. Punch them in the mouth and we lost everything. There will be no football program if we attempt to keep the nickname, its not possible to travel a team that size and not draw any fans to watch a crap game. People like you will bring the death of the football program. The hockey program will remain but you can bet it won't be the same. Your logic may have worked in elementary school, but this is the big leagues with something actually at state. You don't get it. I'm not expecting people like you to get it. You're no different than people who think GF Central should still be the Redskins. They have done just fine as the Knights and the school hasn't imploded.
  17. 75ish/25ish (with a side of mutt)
  18. There is incontinence and then there is what you write on this forum.... my goodness. You can't really be serious. What are we going to rub your nose in when we transition from D1 to NAIA when no D2 teams will play us? I used to want the nickname because I'm stubborn and Norwegian. But I also have a brain, its not hard to look down the tracks. There is a train coming and if we don't board we will be left behind looking like a bunch of fools thanks to morons like you.
  19. I did see a particularily dark and jacked man hanging around Kotelnicki and the linebackers at the practice I watched. There was also a different guy with the TE's alot bigger than Schleusner (however you spell that). No idea who either of them were.
  20. Thats exactly the crap I was talking about. I wonder how some people could tell him how big to build his sandbox and it work?
  21. I agree with the REA point. Every time I go to a game there I look around at the wasted space and think of how many more people could fit in there if they had a little vision with the project. Sure the old one was tiny and people thought the new one was going to be too big, but this is just another example of a lack of vision up here. We should have taken the hint from Fargo with the Fargo Loaf and built bigger stadiums. Instead of being reactive we need to start having more proactive visions up here.
  22. It's an exciting and progressive time in UND football. New unis, new locker room, new conference, new indoor practice facility finally on the horizon. O and some new players. Our program has alot going for it, hopefully they can keep the mojo rolling into the season.
  23. The kickers did look quite impressive, I did notice another kicker that looked very good kicking field goals early in practice too so apparently we have depth at kicker. I think Hansen is going to take the job, his reads are lightyears ahead of the other qbs and his touch is ridiculous on some throws. I also saw Hendrickson make some impressive throws. He has an absolute cannon for an arm but I don't see much touch and change of speeds in his throwing which is a problem... Speaking of linebackers, I've seen the new guy Gord make some powerful hits. Also Dom Bennet looks a good 20 pounds heavier which is great because I think he has the best physical skills and movement of any linebacker we've ever had at UND.
  24. Was able to attend todays practice. Things are looking good. The kickers were hitting bombs today in the specialist session. The one on one's (wr and db) were intense with Jameer Jackson man-handling dbs. He looks much more fluid than before, and did I mention he looks like he's pushing 240. Big runs by Jake Miller and Jer Garmin in a team session. And some huge hits in a very intense live session to end practice.
  25. Our best CB was a freshman last year, they look better in spring so far
