It's too fun to have a ridiculous trophy like a 75lb nickle to have bragging rights over so we should brainstorm and figure out a possibility. The B1G has a bunch of weird ones like Paul Bunyan's Axe and a Bucket of Nails so anything is fair game really. And 'no trophy should be played for' isn't an answer here.

I wish we could've seen a Freund, Chappell, Dressler UND team against a Mays/Walker NDSU team, that would be a great game. After that though UND would've gotten killed because they sucked for a while.

I'm quite sure that almost everyone in Grand Forks and people who are UND fans owns a green shirt. And everyone in the world owns a white shirt and a black shirt. It's not like our colors are crazy. Blackouts are very easy.

I'm not gonna disagree about the lack of wiggle. But you might want to watch it again and notice his speed, 5 yards every 2 strides is very good elite speed is around 6 yards every 2 strides and he's making those slow white boys look like slow middle school white boys speed wise.

There was a green out during the USD game. Or was that all of the empty seats? All we need to do is look south and improve on what they do with the intro, student fan experience, and winning. Seriously though if I don't see a new intro video and improved team entrance I will puke. It's been years of pure garbage, they've never done it right and it shows. New pre game video that fans will actually get excited for like the hockey games, a theme song for the team entrance, fog machine and lasers coming out of the helmet, and have a fan blackout with the teams new black uniforms. Those would help. No more minute to win it is right, its a joke. Leave that crap for halftime when nobody is watching and so the players dont have to see it and get embarrassed and distracted. It's not hard, all it takes is effort, which, apparently, nobody in charge of the football atmosphere has.

Student turnout is an easy fix. Return tailgating to what it was. Kick the crap out of USDMTMTSSD and run up the score so every player gets some touches for the fans to see. Beat Portland St. Finally get an FBS win in San Diego. With that the attendance for the Poly game would be huge. And I'm sure if fans will be clamoring to get a glimpse of the first all black football uni in program history as well. Add all of that together with hype for the new qb and conference and turf and you have a potential powder-keg that could launch the football team to new heights.

FWIW the most losses by a Big Sky winning team in conference since '03 is 2.... I feel like that won't be as common now that there are more quality teams in the Big Sky like Poly and us and Davis and SUU
