  1. Long gone are the days of McBane prowling the blue line for Wisconsin. They are getting absolutely manhandled tonight.
  2. Rodwell in beast mode
  3. Rocco is the man so far tonight. Even put someone on his ass.
  4. The key to not getting caught is to do it during the visiting team intro when the lights are low
  5. Both guys looked like legit college prospects. Especially the goalie. When he did the splits he would cover post to post. Great size.
  6. What about walk ons?
  7. It's a two man job for sure to get it over the glass and sliding out far enough so everyone can see
  8. The one time there's some good action..... Such is life. Ill be there in person tonight so hopefully it boils over
  9. Yup. He was very impressive for an 8th grader. Lightning quick and great hands. As matures I'm sure he'll be a force and move on to juniors. The first time he got the puck I had to look at the roster because he stood out so much as he blew past three guys for a scoring chance.
  10. Honestly I almost always wonder how they're going to replace the production of player a or player b from one year to the next and usually someone steps up.
  11. Goon any video of the scrum that apparently happened? I was at the central game when it happened so I didn't get to see it.
  12. I thought he was saying it was a joke that it was inaccurate
  13. Game just finished central won in ot. Devils lakes goalie had 62. It's his second 60+ save game this year.
  14. Devils Lake has one hell of a young goaltender. He's only a soph and is 6'3". Perhaps a future goaltending prospect.
  15. Of course it does. They were absolutely stacked and couldn't get it done. I thought they were a better team than the '10 team that also blew it.
  16. That sucks for both Rodgers and Und. It's what makes recruiting as entertaining as it is though.
  17. Use the side door and know somebody who is working. I threw one on the ice at the Ralph a while back. Nothing like a frozen badger carcass sliding across the ice.
  18. Who do you think was the best group of freshman ever at UND? My vote is for the 2006 Oshie Toews class as the greatest of all time. So much skill. High end draft picks all over the place. Great NHL impact.
  19. Over/under 2 frozen badgers on the ice this weekend
  20. If I had to chose between the two I'd go with sharp every time. He shows on film that he can get it done between the tackles and he runs with some fire.
  21. The calm before the storm.... I hope
  22. I hope he can develop into a dt. He's got an unbelievably strong upper body and could throw people around in the run game.
  23. Those clips were from his junior year correct?
  24. Since Jake Miller ran a 4.4 40 last winter it's safe to assume that Robertson is at least very close to 4.3 territory.
  25. Jay Nelson is an example of a walk on. He showed up on campus and asked the coaches for a tryout and eventually became a starter. Devin Coyle is a freshman safety and was a preferred walk on from Mandan. Preferred walk ons participate in fall camp and often earn a scholarship. School start walk ons rarely last a full five years and proffered walk ons are much more likely to be retained. School start guys are either projects with raw potential like Jay or bodies to fill the scout team and work hard and sometimes earn playing time. A solid walk on program is a staple of a successful program. Und and ndsu have good walk on programs, Nebraska has one of the best.
