Absolutely love this picture. He might be my all time favorite player. This picture is him in a nutshell besides the surprising skill he would show off from time to time. Best part of the games used to be the opening faceoff when his line was out there and they'd chip it deep and he would steam in and crush somebody into the boards to set the tone for the game. We need another guy like him. Any other younger Hextals out there?

We need that picture of Hextal with a huge grin on his face as he headlocks a gopher. Maybe put it up on the walls in the eglestad.

Anyone think seeing parise in a green and white #11 jersey will trigger some PTSD from gopher fans?

I think putting up a picture wouldn't be nearly as appropriate as an imprint of his face.

I don't want an aneurism so I'm not going to try and figure out the NCAA policy on cc and not playing a sport and how that potentially affects eligibility. He won't redshirt bottom line and should be a nice addition

He can't redshirt since last year would be considered his redshirt. Oliver didn't leave the team. He was removed. Trim the fat.

Pretty sure Idowu was moved to lb. Cain and the kid from Mandan should be decent.

Always need a playmaker at wr in every class. Not always three like last year but two in this class would be nice counting Robertson

I hope we can get this guy. He's got great length and absolutely attacks the ball when it's in the air. He's got a really long stride and is deceptively fast and has elite open field vison and does not like to go down. Lets get him committed

He doesn't look very strong so he should get faster as he gets stronger

A loss to sdsu means one less win on the season and makes it harder to make the playoffs. A loss to Und means humiliation for an entire year for losing to a school who doesn't care as much about football and is always 'less talented' and o by the way has been your most hated rival for a hundred years. The only thing that can knock ndsu off of its high horse right now is Und and they know that.

He looks pretty raw physically but seems to catch the ball with ease and looks comfortable finding soft spots to settle in for his qb

40 times are just as much about technique as they are about actual running ability. High schoolers in the Midwest usually don't know how to run a 40.

I'm not sure why they'd want to shorten his stride. That would make him easier to catch on a long run. They just need to beef him up so he gets faster and stronger and more explosive

I like his stride its quick but also long. Pretty smooth for a shorter guy. I'm not worried about his 40 time. Jake miller wasn't incredible in that respect out of Hs and now runs a 4.4

They need to recruit some grit. This years team is bordering on a finesse team compared to years past. If they're skilled and love to hit that's another story.
