They actually played a ton of good teams and have some very strong wins. EIU on the other hand didn't play or beat anybody. Our schedule wasn't exactly murderers row. Like I said before, the ISU loss buried us.

That will be a good game for us next year. I usually cheer for USD and hope they do well. I'm also usually a fan of competitive games but I hope we smash them next year to prove a point.

You guys can pull excuses out of your asses all day if you want but at the end of the day our inability to win cost us a spot in the playoffs. Even with the injuries we were good enough to win two of those three in a row losses, but we didn't.

So a loss to the best team in the country at the time is worse than two losses, one to a team that only beat 1 D1 team this year and the other to a very average team? No, just stop.

Did we get robbed? We sure did. But we left our car running with the doors unlocked in a bad neighborhood. What did you expect? I felt good about the win last night but because it was not unanimous that we would get in i remained nervous. Now we know why.

Did any of those teams have a worse loss than ours to Idaho St?

We didn't have the personel to do that this year. Maybe at the end when the CBs seemed to get their !@#$ together. Next year I predict our secondary will be a strength. Book it.

That NDSU game was very important for the growth of this team. I couldn't disagree more with you. That loss did not keep us out. That three game stretch of Bartels kept us out.

We lost to ISU that is on us, nobody else.

We gave them the option to !@#$ us. We're an unfamiliar entity without a built up reputation. I've had too many first hand experiences where if you let things like this get out of your control chances are you are going to get screwed. The loss to ISU burried us. That is on us. You can't blame the committee for looking at that game and then leaving us out. Injuries don't matter because everyone has them. Apparently we just weren't quite ready. But I can guarantee one thing, this will be one pissed off team this winter. The teams that play us next year better be ready, the revenge tour starts tomorrow.
