A bit early to tell on some guys.
-
We need many burners
-
We've built a lot of quality depth in a short period of time. Three glaring holes are qb cb and wr(burner types)
-
10-15 yarders are tougher to come by without a legit deep threat. Last game was an anomaly for Studsrud anyway. We've got enough possession guys but are very much lacking burners.
-
We need to recruit more speed on the perimeter. At WR we really need more than one burner. The injury to Clive is going to hold our offense back big time because he was our only guy that could stretch the field. I like the size we brought in the last couple years but speed has to now be the focus.
-
Qb I should have added that. Even the best rookie qb seasons aren't that great. It seems to take a year of seasoning with growing pains to adjust to the NFL game.
-
No rookie is. Long term if they have a decent OL he should be fine. He needs to work on his touch though.
-
It was an off game. Guys were out of sync for some reason. That won't happen again next week. I wonder if there is a shake up to happen on the OL? Maybe get Aplin in there at LG?
-
Positives: our front seven is filthy. The RFR even look really really good. Keaton literally won't play worse than that all year. Santiago is even better. Some of his carries last night were incredible even if they only resulted in a few yards. Reyes is going to have an unreal year if he stays healthy. The OL won't play worse than that this year. A lot of guys got their first full time game action last night. The CBs got better as the game went on. Dussold was very good last night. That will help the defense. Did I mention the front seven yet? Negatives: Clives leg...... He may never play again.... I hope he can recover Tyus struggled bad. I'm not sure why he's playing 10 yards off and then bailing but it needs to change. You can't do both. Punt team blocking...... Awful awful awful Two of these things can be fixed with coaching. On to Bowling Green.

Get out of here can't you see people are bitching?
-
You guys realize last year national champion lost their first game and looked pretty bad right?
-
Tough loss. Let's move on. The d looked really good down the stretch. Their run d is the best we will face. We had some real !@#$ luck. Let's move on.
-
Lose Clive. Killed us. Lose Reyes might kill us if it's serious. Blocked punt for a td won the game. We are the better team but Studs having such a terrible game didn't give our RBs a chance since they didn't have to respect our passing game. It's a tough loss to a good team on the road to start the year. You guys need to take the barrels out of your mouths. This team will be fine. They will find a way. Bowling Green is the next oportunity and there's no way in hell we play that bad again. Picture this possibility, what if Stony Brook is good?
-
They should have handed off to Santiago on that 4th down. Brady didn't use his eyes, there was a hole.....
-
Great call. Just about had a heart attack.
-
It's been an issue all game...
-
You've definately left no dpubt that you're a joke
-
The d is in their QBs head. And the coverage seems to be getting a bit better. We need to bust a big run. Grind them to dust.
-
Win this one for the Cliver
-
Next 6'1" blazing fast game changing wr up......
-
!@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$. We need him
-
His ankle is fucked. Rolled up on
-
FWIW Stony Brook is a lot better than WYO was last year. Again, we'll be fine. I think we're the better team.
-
I feel good about this second half and have zero reason to. Studs will settle down. The passing game will take what they're giving us which is a lot. The d fixes a couple things and I think their qb gets really uncomfortable and they rely on low percentage plays.
