  1. Are we talking Christian Bale or Ben Affleck level?
  2. Also, nutrition is very important but at a certain point you just need the calories to burn so you can use the nutrients to build. Look at Michael Phelps' infamous diet for example. He ate a ton of food that isn't considered healthy by anyone. His body just needed the fuel with how much he was training. JJ Watt is another example. He was actually eating too healthy at the beginning of his career and found his tank running empty too often. The solution was to eat way more than he ever thought to. Ironically he wasn't consuming enough fats so he had to add that to his diet. Point is, nutrition for athletes is very different just because of the ammount of calaries being burned and needing to give your engine enough fuel to burn every day.
  3. Funny you should say burrito..... 6 scoops of meat at qdoba.....
  4. It's obvious the horse latitudes of the off season right now and the discussion from the 2017 Season thread about gaining weight was giving me flash backs to stuffing my self in order to get those gains I needed in the weight room. So for those that played sports and needed to gain weight let's hear about those legendary meals. I'll start. My go to at the Pepper was: 1 whole everything 2 beef and been combo tostadas 3 hard shell schneiders 2 cheese tostadas 2 cups of Mountain Dew
  5. That's what you would think but to eat like a circus freak at restaurants is not only very expensive but also laborious. It gets old real fast.
  6. I wonder how much he's eating. I had a really hard time gaining much weight for my first few year until I figured out just how much I had to consume to overcome my metabolism. FYI it was obscene how much I had to eat, but it worked.
  7. What about Blair? Still too light?
  8. Cox is a liability at OT. He can't hang out there.
  9. Which seems to be the strongest unit? 1: Stockwell - Cox - Aplin - Taylor - Grady 2: Stockwell - Aplin - Rooney - Taylor - Grady 3: Stockwell - Bell - Aplin - Taylor - Grady 4: Stockwell - Grady - Aplin - Taylor - Blair
  10. Is Rozenboom a senior? Pretty sure he's only going to be a soph.
  11. They must not be
  12. My gut tells me they pick Gubrud.
  13. He gonna play TE or what? And does he know the football team wears adidas? I hear that's a deal breaker.
  14. Maybe they'll go with Gubrud
  15. I really thought he would have a nice career. Seemed like he had it all. Crazy how it works out sometimes.
  16. Who's #1? Could be Reyes.

    Beer

Because it makes them feel like men for a change when they drink it.

    Beer

Had a nice beer surprise the other night. Saw a sixer from Rougue of some lager I'd never heard of, Hot Tub Scholarship Lager, on sale for $6. I gave it a go and it was a really good beer that tasted like beer. No gimmicks just straight up beer. Just an easy drinking and smooth Munich Helles style lager.
  19. That really might not even be that bold of a prediction considering we almost did it last year with the OL struggling most of the season. Heres a question: has there ever been a team with 3 1000 yard backs?
  20. Our OL is a question mark until they prove otherwise.
  21. I'm looking forward to the clash of the Titans, aka the Grady Train vs huge Samoan DLs.
  22. They had 5 DL on the pac12 all conf teams. 3 were seniors. The best and biggest in my opinion will be back....he was a fresh all American , 1st team PAC 12 as a soph and possibly injured last year....Hon mention PAC 12 as a jun. He's a 6'3" 320lb senior. His partner is a 6'3" 290lb senior....HM PAC 12. Big big Samoans!!! They also bring back DE (ucla transfer) that was inj game 3. He was leading the team in sacks and TFLs before the injury. He will be a senior as well. They will be very difficult to run against. They lose their entire o line except one. Glad to get them in first game of season. They have only 4 upper class men here ....2 sen 2 jun. Our quickness could create problems for them. Their secondary loses 5 of top 6 guys...but the one coming back is a stud ...6'3" 220 jun. need to be able to pass on them They return a first team all American punter.....field position field position field position!! They are going up tempo this year and they are built for it.....the majority of the skilled guys are smallish....5-9ish 175 lb ish. Quickness. und brings back a ton of experienced men ....and they know how to win. cant wait!!! I posted this back in April in a different thread. My take is the same today: Utah will very difficult to run against, not only for UND, but for any team. Their DL does not get pushed around...they do the pushing. Keaton and the passing game need to be playing at a high level for UND to have any chance of a victory. Keeping Utah honest is a must! I would like the TEs to be used early and often and a ton of screen passes to say Santiago or Cam. Three and half yards each play, all day would make me smile. They need to burn the clock and keep their offense off the field. I have knocked Rudolph almost every game since his arrival....hope I don't after this game. I really want to see UNDs quickness at the LB positions to be the strength against these guys. They could exploit the massive inexperienced o line of the Utes. I like the backers in this game. Schmitty will get the most out of his players, so I'm not worried about focus, discipline and being game ready. The secondary will be tested, well UND has two pre season all Americans in the secondary plus a very talented true sophomore. If UND can get pressure around the edges, I like UNDs secondary against a completely revamped offense. UND needs to make their qb twitchy and jumpy from the gate. UND returns a ton of players that have started 3 or 4 years now. Senior class is seasoned and seems to be a lot of leadership within that group. It will take a massive doing to leave Utah with a victory but this is Unds most talented and experienced team to date. Don't forget about Tyus Carter.
  23. Thanks for the objective run down. And also for not being the typical FBS douche who acts like Bat Dad from South Park.
  24. Also a name pronunciation explanation for half your players would be appreciated.
