Its as if Missouri wants no part of a win. 3rd and 15? Throw the bomb and cross your fingers.

And Mizzou promptly runs it out to the 21 after a near safety

How'd the first punt go you ask? 70 yards, downed at the 1. This game has it all, except for tackling.

Tigers got greedy after missing a wide open deep ball and got intercepted the next time they went down the field.

And another Td run. 34 yards this time. Defense is optional.

When people think of the Big Sky they imagine all the games going like this one. I can count maybe 6 tackles that have been made so far.

This game is crazy. No defense being played. 13-14 Bears. Mizzou missed their first XP. Bears just had a 75yrd TD on 3rd and 10.

Wow. KR past the half. Two plays. TD. Just like that for Mizzou

It would appear tackling is not the Bears' forte

Bears offense just sliced and diced down the field with ease. Some power stuff, some RPO, lots of misdirection. Quick tempo. Real good looking RB and TE. The OL has been getting a nice push. Not sure how Mizzou is on the DL this year but they play in the SEC so it's impressive.

Pretty much everyone but us has been heaping praise on Studsrud. We may have a bias against our own qb. Or maybe it's a trickle down from the anti Rudolph bias?

Forgot to mention, my whipping boy Taubenheim was flawless yesterday. The ball was exploding off his foot. I hope he keeps it up. I usually try and be as patient as I can be with Rudolph but I absolutely hated our offense yesterday. I didn't like the play calling and there was no rhythm.

Our OL as a whole got tossed around in the run game. I didn't see anyone getting any push. Also, we left a lot of points on the table in the first quarter. Had a legit opportunity to be up 14-7. Instead it was 6-7. That changed the way Utah was able to play. If they were trying to keep pace they would have been more mistake prone.

A couple issues I noticed from last night: Our OL was catching guys instead of trying to move them. Even in the run game our guys weren't physical enough. I don't care who is lined up across from you, you've got to at least try and move them. Demon got blown up on a pull by a DB. He probably had 100 lbs on the guy and got smacked right in his mouth and folded line a lawn chair. He needs to find some heart because he's got too much talent to play soft like that. I get that Utah has a special DL but we can do better than that.
