Yup. Brad can't throw to save his life. Get Zimmermanns feet wet at least.

Most OCs would be licking their chops with what we have in the backfield. I tried giving Rudolph time because I saw a few good things here and there but 3 years is enough for me to know he isn't gonna get it done. Someone who is innovative with each game plan is what we need. Also a playbook that doesn't take 2.5 years to learn would be nice.

Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuch

Not sure who was looking to him for advice.

It's an extremely inexact science where results are nearly impossible to prove as valid. The workouts my team did vs what they did in the 90s were very different. Lots of kettle bells and body weight exercises (plus weight vests if you're not a puss) but still plenty of Olympic lifts.

One thing to keep in mind is the needs and abilities of an NFL player and a college player. NFL trainers aren't taking guys straight out of Highschool and building them into men. They're working with more of a finished product and trying to keep wear and tear to a minimum while maintaining instead of gaining.

They test back squat at the combine?

So basically NDSU has had some !@#$ luck as well but the injuries are more spread out across the roster. Also, I don't think any position on NDSU's roster is/was as fragile as UND's MLB situation. Losing 5 players at that spot has killed us. The trickle-down effect has been hurting other positions.
-
Does this look about right?
-
Could you edit this and add positions and place on the depth chart to put things into perspective?
-
An inordinate amount.
-
Does NDSU need to re-evaluate their SC program? They have had a ton of injuries this year. Multiple ACLs too.
-
And if we're talking statistics, your sample size would be the total roster and injuries would be a dependent variable.
-
I'd agree if it was a slew of ACLs or something else but it's not. It's OL getting rolled up on, guys getting their arms/hands crushed by helmets, and guys turning ankles/twisting knees. Since there are a ton of injuries but they're mostly different and most of them caused by contact there's no way you could point to SC as the issue.

Nobody's popping anyone. It's literally a game of patty cake out there with our d. Then I catch a few min of NDSU play and they attack blockers like they said something about their momma.

His ball security has been terrible from day 1 and he hasn't tweaked a single thing about it. I don't understand how that is possible. It takes zero skill to hold on to the ball. im not saying we need misconduct penalties but they way our defenders approach contact is why we are getting steam rolled. Most guys are catching blockers instead of blowing them up. There's a mentality issue from what I can see. Maybe I'm just frustrated and full of !@#$. Who knows.

Was it al dente?

Your analogy at the end is about as water tight as a Spagetti strainer.

We were gashing them up the gut. A pa pass would make sense there, not a horizontal run that seldom works.
-
We ran a jet sweep for -4 yards that killed a promising drive. We did a pa pass on 3rd and something like 15. Nobody bit on the fake though....
-
The new goal for the season is to hold a team under 40. Point by point. I don't care who's out there, we can't be giving up points like we are.
-
Our team is trash right now. Our guys are injured. We're being out coached. We're being out desired/efforted/hearted/passioned/leadershipped. I want to see the coaches innovate to put us in a position to compete. I want to see the players look pissed instead of disheveled.

When I see some fight from the defense I'll believe this.
