I did not say they didn’t offer more than one back. There are plenty of good backs to go around. My opinion, with loads of hindsight, is that we should have brought in two hs backs in that class.

Tom likes to have the facts in order before jumping out with a story, otherwise he would have written a bomb of a piece about your FB and Clean Victory.

I just think it was unwise to have one rb recruit in a class be a guy with a known academic risk. Especially with the impending graduation of two great backs.

They aren’t pussy whipped by the coaches like Dom and Jeff.

The OL attrition under Bubba has been pretty crazy. Some really high potential guys that haven’t worked out. We’ve been especially snake bit at OT.

Hs recruiting of RBs post Santiago and Oliveira has been lacking. I wish we had a RS Jr RB. I think bringing one in a year wouldn’t be too crazy.

Why would I comment on that when he signs? I prefer to be positive with the new signees since it’s such an awesome thing for them. However, I had heard about the academic concerns when we offered him. He seems like a good kid and I hope he figured the school part out.
