I saw an entire team that basically gave up on the OC because it just wasn’t working and they were tired of other teams knowing what was coming. Also, what is the point of quoting my posts if you’re going to fill in between the lines the make your argument seem more successful?

Their secondary will be fine. They have really good players there that have played plenty.

Never said it was an automatic win. Taking a look at actual history of UND out west in night games(kickoff at or after 5pm) as a D1 team against FCS teams. These are the results: 2008 - L @ Davis - by 7 pts 2010 - L @ Poly - by 1 pt 2012 - W @ Sac - by 22 pts 2015 - W @ Poly - by 24 pts 2016 - W @ Sac - by 33 pts 2017 - L @ Davis - by 24 pts 2018 - W @ Sac - by 26 pts We are 4-3 which is better than our overall record in D1 against FCS teams of 50-50. In others words, we are better in Cali night games than we are overall all, so, bring on the Cali night games.

So is the Cali night game a problem or not? You said it was but I disagree and offered evidence.

Yes, I believe it does. From the sideline the players can feel the energy of the fans. When a team makes one mistake and the fans react with the “here we go again” groan it deflated people. NDSU is a great example. Their fans are over the top with expectations of greatness.

We < bleeped > them in a Cali night game in 2015. Didn’t bother that team one bit.

I actually think expectations of fans are just as important. Look at fan bases that expect success, they usually have teams that achieve. It’s kind of a chicken or the egg situation.

Fresh meat at qb for teh AC this year. His second career start will come against the Mighty Fighting Hawks. I look forward to Schmidt making his head spin.

Saw him in person the other day on campus. He’s got the frame for at least another 30 lbs. I’ve heard he runs like a safety.

DL has me scared to death right now. If they surprise we could be a very good team. If they flounder against the run we could be in trouble and the NDSU game will be worse defensively than last time.
