39 minutes ago, SuhakiYeahYeah said:This is about as shady as it gets. SEMO is 8-2 and UT Martin is 6-4, but they are both undefeated in conference and don't play each other this year. So if they both win this week, it's a tie with no tiebreaker, so OVC says it would come down to a coin flip.
Here's the thing, SEMO would be 9-2 so if they lost the coin flip for the auto bid, they would be in anyways. UT Martin needs the auto bid to get into the playoffs at all. The OVC however said they wouldn't broadcast the coin flip. So they could just claim that they did a coin flip that Martin won, because then they would get two teams in instead of one if SEMO won the toss. People complain about transparency in FCS football and this is not helping.
How does a conference with 7 teams not have everyone play each other?

I was far from a Jones guy but its not hard to see the talent difference, at least the top end, between the two programs.
Jones didn't have to deal with the portal. With that said, Sather needs to figure it out and fast.

I would discourage anyone from ever listening to or reading something from McFeely, regardless of whether it's positive for UND this time.

It might be the same things as the UNO vs. UND in hockey scenario. The Omaha fans think that UND is their biggest rivalry, but I doubt the UND fans and players would think that UNO is a top rival.
No. UNO is a joke with no history. UND football isn't.

Those who feared UND would ruin the mvfc have been proven correct, apparently. The conference used to be a meat grinder, but now it's the xdsu's and a bunch of teams that can't even beat UND.

No more destination games.
It's too much about the destination and not enough about the game.
Team wants to play somewhere nice? Make the Frozen Four.

Right before the season? What’s up with this?
Must just miss her friends/family??? Not sure what other excuse/reason there could be.

UND's adoption of online learning has helped it weather the early stages of the storm. The recent focus on rebuilding the campus should help it weather the latter stages of the storm as on-campus students prioritize which university they'll go to.

The little school budgets are pocket change compared to UND and NDSU. Besides, I think we are drifting off topic a little. Why is NDSU in bigger budget trouble than UND? Poor planning?
Yes. UND took its lumps in 2017. There were a lot of people in GF at the time wondering why ndsu wasn't laying off staff and shutting down programs (music therapy, etc.) at the time.

Homer, I have to disagree with you.. the DB came off his man/area near the numbers and saw the WR 10/15 yards away by the hash mark. So, he clearly had the target in sight. The WR did not duck into the hit and he is 6'2". Simply put that was not a reaction - he had his target. And, I have a problem with that hit.
Agreed. Most blatant and intentional targeting I've seen live in years.

It’s like clockwork. Every time there is a game to take things to the next level momentum wise we !@#$ the bed. It’s been 10 years straight of that.
I get scared when the crowd gets too loud on 3rd and long due to our history of giving up big plays when the fans are actually interested.

Can I get a review of the review of the review before we review it?
It was ridiculous that the only review that overturned a play (out of what, 6?) did not require them to stop/hold up play for the review. I'd argue the constant stoppages held us back from getting too much momentum in the 1st quarter (although we made sure of that with the pick 6).

I gotta believe that was intentional...
If so, it was dirty. Regardless, it was annoying. The ref also had to get someone from facilities to tell the band to stop playing earlier before each snap.

I believe it was just shy of 11,100. Good crowd. I’m calling small crowd of 8,000 for next weekend. We just can’t get out of our way sometimes.
We'd be lucky to get 8k after that second half, especially with Vegas.
