There's also a demand for it. There's not a great spot for large groups as there is at most 1 or 2 suites available.
Wish they would find a happy medium where they left at least half of the catwalk open or if they weren't reserve, they didn't put it up.
At worst, sell some spots as season ticket spots.
I get it though, they feel there was an unmet demand and did what they could to capture that. As a city-owned venue, they do have a repsonsibility to look into those things. Maybe it flops and goes back to how it was.

When do they admit the flop?

  2. Looks like Otis found a landing spot in Oakland, CA.  Not sure what this school is, but they play a mix of NAIA, D2, and D1 universities, including Portland State, St. Thomas, and Southern Utah this year.

Weak businesses don't survive when competition arrives.

    Competition drives higher wages.

If a business cannot afford to keep up maybe they shouldn't be in business.

Agreed, except when the new business is receiving millions in tax breaks/government subsidies.

I don't disagree with Dan here. This isn't Bison/UND rivalry crap. I said in a different post, If he or the University did nothing wrong, then there is nothing to hide. And maybe they did nothing wrong here. He could have been allowed to play, based on limited information, or behind closed doors conversations where it was determined he could play until the outcome of the investigation was complete.

Get the AD and the Coach together with the PR department and figure out how to handle the situation. To me, ignoring it or staying completely silent on it, just makes you look worse, but maybe that's just me.

I would think there is a middle ground between not saying anything and having a full blown press conference open to questions.

You are wrong. Otis was accused and brought in front of a Judge in a Title IX case. He was found guilty of violating Title iX for sexual assault. This was not just an accusation!

Which municipal or district court judge heard this case?  The university is not a court of law.

Do you think they will use him at WR, or possibly a DB.  Looks like he had 4 picks his Junior year, possible safety?

    UNDFB360 says safety.

  7. A coach also has to trust his players to a certain extent.  You want to believe you've only brought in good people to be a part of your team.  You know these kids and want the best for them.

    Bubba:  Did you do this?
Otis:  No, it was consensual.  Here's a text from her inviting me over.  (I don't know if there were any texts, just an example)
Bubba:  Ok, then you still have a spot on the team pending the outcome of the investigation.

I guess I don't really hold it against Bubba for that.

"I think they had something that we didn't have," Weah said. "It was a winning mentality and they wanted it more than the team I was playing for."

    Good lord, man.

I was trying to be nice with my first post, but with this.... good riddance.

not much of a family support network down there....this might get dicey for him but wish him well bc the young man does have a boatload of talent.

Getting away from the distractions of family could be good for him.  Hopefully he's learned some life lessons from his time here, although I don't think MoSU academics and Petrino disciplinary standards could be a challenge for many.

Do the parking lot next to it too! :D

Gotta be careful and learn from ndsu's mistakes on that one.  Their heated sidewalks are never turned on because they didn't account for where the melt would flow (and create an ice rink).
