What's the spread? #JustCover -
When it comes to having a name as bland and generic as Hawks, the #1 for me for the logo will be uniqueness.

We don't. One poster mentioned their schollies should be reduced/removed and used elsewhere. Hypothetical.

The accent helps, but not quite enough IMO. Maybe a bolder accent? When the image is shrunk down (for hats, polos, etc) the eye kind of gets lost and is hard to differentiate from the other "random" sections of white and green on the head. Perhaps a couple of those need to be removed? Especially the white ones near the eye. Maybe try removing the white spots above and below the eye, and the left half of the one to the right of the eye. I think when it's shrunk down, the eye needs to be clear to avoid the appearance of it being just a black blob with random spots of color.

I prefer the one with the black-tipped beak. I still think something needs to be done with the back feather, I'd either shrink or remove it. When the logo is shrunk down, it can end up looking like a beaked black blob. Perhaps it should be done in more of a charcoal gray so it doesn't drown out the other colors so much? Maybe make the eye all white rather than having the color strip at the bottom. Also, try coloring the area around the eye to make it more distinct. I'd also be interested in seeing it with heavier outlining/more color on the lower feathers to make them a bit more distinct.

WOW even Hajdu getting involved. Committee must've REALLY screwed the football team.
-
Agreed. Taubs was a bit shaky this year, and he seemed to lose some power from last year, but we know he is a capable kicker. Hopefully he has a good offseason in the IPF.
-
So you're going to march out a half dozen excuses on how the weather beat SDSU, rather than WIU, and then still say the WIU victory meant more than UND's win ON THE ROAD over a SEEDED team that slaughtered one FBS opponent AND beat the #2 team in the PAC 12 North? The MVFC is good, but there are some very good teams outside of it. Take off the blinders.... or at least try to be consistent in your argument. NDSU lost to that powerhouse USD. Is NDSU not good?
-
His point still stands.
-
A quality loss there would significantly boost our resume. We don't want to beat too many good teams on our schedule, or else they won't be considered good anymore.

He is one of 10 semifinalists for the award....
-
Previous winners include Justin Blackmon, Marquise Lee, Brandin Cooks, and Amari Cooper. If Lewis wins that, I don't think we need to worry about him being on their roster next year.

Whoever the Big Sky's rep on the selection committee was, it appears he spends too much of his day reading bisonswille and AGS.
-
The first time a 6 win team has EVER made the playoffs, for a team with no wins against a seeded opponent no less. And they booted a 7-4 team with an FBS win and a win against a seeded team to do it.
-
This isn't making me less angry....
-
As long as they're still committed to the team and they're putting in the work, the team should remain committed to them. Just my opinion.
-
Well, I woke up this morning still angry. Turkey day can't get here soon enough.
-
34-9 "UND is the worst team we've ever played in the D1 era" 59-7 "WIU is a really good team tho"
-
WIU got slaughtered by 52 points with ndsu starting a freshman piece of hockey equipment at qb? Ouch.
-
After it's all said and done, WIU had more "good" losses than we had losses. It stinks, but we never had a chance against a team with that many losses.
-
At this point I'd be pleasantly surprised if any of our guys made an all big Sky team, much less all American. No respect right now.
-
I was only listing the teams we didn't already play this year, but yes. Although I think the final result, in terms of wins and losses, would be the same, I'd like to see what would happen in a rematch. Studsrud was living up to the first 4 letters of his name down the stretch.
-
They have so many good losses though, that's what matters.... this year.
