  1. It appears the B1G isn't interested in UND. If they are, it's likely because UND is college hockey royalty. Mankato and Bemidji are far from hockey royalty deserving of a pass for their academic and financial shortcomings.
  2. They said it's 10-20 years out, so I'd hold off on the back-pats for a bit. On another note, could this be retribution from Shirley, trying to take a bite out of UND's market? (I'm sure it's not, but the timing is interesting to me)
  3. School - Enrollment - Endowment - Primary Athletic Division UND - 15k - $230M - DI WMU - 24k - $320M - DI UMD - 10k - $130M - DII DU - 12k - $467M - DI CC - 2k - $680M - DIII UNO - 15k - ? - DI Miami - 24k - $460M - DI SCSU - 15k - $23M - DII Mankato - 18k - $50M - DII Bemidji State - 6k - $11M - DII Which schools should UND associate itself with? For comparison purposes, Dickinson State has an endowment of $9M.
  4. http://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/culture-clash-with-mideaststudents-stirs-up-idaho-town/ Idaho St to lose $20+ million in annual tuition revenue in the next few years? Looks like Dickinson State's president had a clone at Idaho St, pushing enrollment up any way they could.
  5. Right now, 5 of the 8 members (majority) are D1 and CC (D3) also has affiliate status in the Mountain West.
  6. UND vs. HE - 2-0-1 (Vermont, Maine) SCSU vs HE - 0-0-0 DU vs HE - 0-2-2 (BC, BU, ND) UMD vs HE - 1-1-2 (ND, UML) Miami vs HE - 0-1-1 (Providence) Omaha vs HE - 2-0-0 (Vermont) WMU vs HE - 0-1-0 (ND) CC vs HE - 0-6-0 (UMass, UML, BC) Cumulative - 5-11-6 Cumulative without CC - 5-5-6 Other than HE feasting on CC, they're fairly even matched. Poor showing by Denver though.
  7. If the NCHC brass is even remotely considering adding Bemidji and Mankato, I hope someone reminds them they're the NATIONAL Collegiate Hockey Conference, not the Regional Collegiate Hockey Conference. It should not be watered down with a majority membership of mediocre D2 schools.
  8. We haven't been able to leverage the NCHC into getting bball games against Denver, WMU, or Miami. I wouldn't expect that to change with the B1G. As for the rest, yes, being in a conference with Minnesota and Wisconsin is good for UND.
  9. I'd imagine additional interaction between UND and Air Force could only be good for us from a research and aviation program standpoint as well.
  10. Taking Bemidji and Mankato and losing WMU and Miami would be a big step back for the NCHC (it already took one step back when it accepted St Cloud). If any changes are to be made in the NCHC, it should be the addition of Bowling Green and either ASU or Air Force. More D1 members, not D2.
  11. I'm curious how Notre Dame tv rights will be worked out....
  12. Fair point. Their last 2 wins are the only impressive ones.
  13. All those schools are D2. In hockey, Mankato and Bemidji are not successful and Duluth and St. Cloud combined have made 3 Frozen Fours in the last 30 years, so I wouldn't call them very successful either. Now unless you have something constructive to add that actually pertains to the topic of "UND FB Camp Attendees" and isn't another attempt at trolling, please show yourself out.
  14. Good thing Minnesota has enough talent to support multiple successful D1 athletic programs and they don't have any! Leaves plenty for us, SDSU, NDSU, USD, and UNI.
  15. Welp, looks like we'll have 4 nchc teams in the national tourney.
  16. I'll take your word for it. I suppose it makes sense that tickets sold to St cloud fans would be sitting empty right now too. Duluth needs the gophers season to end before they have any fans.
  17. UND up 15-12 against ForProfitU after 1.
