Weatherby still leads the BCHL in scoring. Tychonick is 4th in BCHL defensemen scoring. Gavin Hain is putting up over a half point per game playing against some pretty good competition. These are the three that will likely be regulars in the lineup next season. I've read great things about Senden's character and from the description of his game he projects as a Mario Lamoureux/Jonny Simonson type. Keane has struggled. Oh, and Adam Scheel is being lauded as Penticton's MVP this year...although it will likely go to their point producing BSU commit. I'm excited to see what the younger guys can do next year in their respective leagues (esp. Caulfield, Donovan, and Ethan Bowen). BTW, Jacob Bernard-Docker seems ready to come in next year which really jams up the D position. Thoughts? Does he stay on with Okotoks or go to the USHL? Or...?

Me too! I thought Monty was a class act when he congratulated UND on their NC. Then, he went to class-less with his screaming at the refs after the Friday UND@DU game. With what I've seen from the SCSU situation and now AF, this guy has become a complete joke. With the speed and skill on the DU team it isn't that farfetched that they are going to get more PPs than their opponents but the disparity has been, in a word, newsworthy. The NCHC should look into this but, as stated above, it will likely not be addressed.

Looking at the ND HS Hockey site I noticed that Jackson Kunz has missed a few games. Reading back a page it looks like he was injured during the Davies game. Anyone have an update on his condition?

I think UND is pretty loaded in the pipeline right now. I am excited to see what the likes of Gavin Hain, Judd Caulfield, and Harrison Blaisdell (among others) bring to the table. I am sure the brass will be announcing some ’02 or ’03 (birth year) recruits soon. I wouldn’t mind seeing them bring an ‘overager’ in to replace Gornall next year. Where is the next Steph Pattyn playing junior hockey? Looking at our stable of D-men … in just the ’00 birth year we have a top 31 NHL projected player (Tychonick), a top MNHS defenseman (Frisch), and a guy that is putting up good numbers in the AJHL (JB-D). Also Luke Reid (Penticton) is having a break-out rookie campaign as a 16 year-old as he has been on the top pairing at least a few times. Our goalie position seems to be secure for the next several years.

Anyone hear where Gornall ended up?
