This is the year to prove it. Last year I kept hearing how we avoided EWU and Montana. While it is true we avoided EWU I believe Montana avoided us. This year we play them both. People also seem to forget that we ended NAU's 4 game winning streak coming into our game against them. Then they were flat the next week because we pretty much killed their momentum and enthusiasm.

I think Weber will be decent but when I think of Montana and MSU I got nothing. It looks like MSU lost a few players who basically decided they didn't want to play there anymore and Montana seems to be hit and miss any given week.

I am a big fan of this Big North idea. For selfish reasons I would want UNC in there but DU and UNC would have to act like adults and figure out how to get along with each other.

This is sort of a bummer because even though I am going I was hoping this one could be picked up nationally because it is a Thursday game ahead of opening Saturday. A few weeks ago I told my Dad I was going and he expressed interest in watching it. This stinks because he has been on the Bison bandwagon and is now showing interest in UND Football. I am on a personal mission to turn him on to the better shade of green and this doesn't exactly help.

I fully agree because stopping the run is our strong suit but like you said we have some inexperienced ILB's. Then again it looks like we will have an even stronger secondary so my hope is we are able to limit the big plays more this season. We all saw what an inexperienced o line can and cannot do early in the season so I am hoping we use this to our advantage.

Does anyone know if all the suites are sold out?

My tickets are already purchased and it was a decent deal. Seats 60 rows up from the field for only $45 per ticket. Not bad considering they consistently sell out. My group will be doing some tailgating so if anyone is heading out there let me know.

I hope the Denver to Devils Lake flights don't go away. I am flying up in June for a long weekend of fishing for $265 round trip. That is tough to beat.

Thank you for the clarification on Zimmerman. I knew he was eligible right away and that will be huge for us if/when Studs goes down. I was at the Weber game when Studs went down and the following week out at UNC and I was incredibly nervous about the QB play when Studs was not available. We shouldn't have to deal with that uncertainty now!

I recently read that Zimmerman has two years of eligibility left, 17 & 18. Nate would have 18 & 19. Let the competition begin.

No I am talking about Sac State transfer QB Nate Ketteringham. Zimmerman is ready to go. We no have depth at QB! Edit: I mis read and thought you were talking about Ketteringham since it was just announced he is transferring to UND.

He will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility remaining. He played as a true Frosh.
