Don't care if you acknowledge it or not. Maybe your happy with this team and how they play, I am not. ( it's a perfect comparison to Gino's years same results)

If tonight wasn't the last straw boy I don't know what will. One of Hakstol's trade mark is flat teams when something is on the line( see all the ff he has coached in, NH and Yale etc). I believe Hakstol is a great recruiter and asst. coach but he sure doesn't fire up the players for games. It goes back to the day he took over that we wouldn't even notice the difference in coaching styles well most of us have noticed. He relieved Eades of his duties because he wanted to improve the D well thar sure hasn't worked, we are way worse defensively then last year. I know Goon or Mafia Man will criticize this post but oh well I have had season tickets since 84 and tonight was a game that caused Gino to be replaced. Maybe Hakstol is two nice to the young men and need to be more of a disciplinarian and not their friend but the coach. We all pay good money for our tickets and should expect a better product then what we had tonight. All the talent that has come through ND and no titles for Hakstol, maybe time to move on.

That's still ten non-conference games each year
-
How many games allowed in the reg season? 32?
-
Not sure what is up with Clarke but he doesn't look the same since the break
-
When will the d catch up? It seems like our players have regressed in that area since last year. We have given up way to many quality chances this year.

NORTH DAKOTA @ MINNESOTA - Saturday, one last dance....

my only issue with Rocco on the first line is are all our eggs in one basket. If they do put Rocco with Kristo speed with be in abundance for sure. In another thread someone said they wouldn't sit Schmaltz because he might be a flight risk, I say play the rights players no matter what. I just like what St. Clair-Rocco-Caggiula do when they are together. -

I think the D sometimes try's to do too much ands ends up eating it on the wall and getting a face off vs taking the easy play and getting it out out of the zone(see Gleason vs BU) hard off the glass and out is better than a d zone face off. Next game Schmaltz and Matson ride the pine and go with five d or try Jim back there. The Sioux have never been good at prevent defense, keep the pressure on in the O zone, best defense is a good offense. -
Why do you think dean would come back? We need to change something
-
Pathetic performance, also waiting for Berrys vaunted defense we played better d last year. Why is pattyn centering the third line not much offense from him. Hakstol keeps peeing down his own leg, for crips sake don't just scowl make some adjustments. Saunders didn't look like a d1 goalie tonight very very weak
-
Not an expert but it seems that if you want to beat the Gophers you need to survive the first period and take it from there, against BC and ND they came out on fire got a lead and never looked back.
-
I think Mariucci's post was dripping with sarcasm
-
Kristo from Forbort and Knight
-
Her family owns the McDonalds franchises in GF and EGF maybe why she doesn't acknowledge that.
-
I saw Parks Sat. night had a boot on his foot with crutches, he did not have the boot on the week before
-
If Gaudreau can play the third line for BC I think Rocco can play the third line for us, plus he will see plenty of time on the PP and the PK
-
Nope I have Rocco on the third line, away from the opposing teams best two sets of D and against the opposing third line at least to start the year.
-
Like someone said earlier we need to spread ut the scoring so we are very difficult to plat against. Kristo-Knight-Rodwell Setup guy, finisher and a banger Parks-Rowney-McMillian played lights out and the end of last season Chyzk-Grimaldi-Caggiula(O'donnell) Not enough spots for everyone The General-Gaarder-St. Clair
-
Your probably right Snake after going the last three months without a healthy scratch.
-
If Jones comes someone has to sit. Coach Hakstol will have lots of decisions next year.
-
I forgot about Schmaltz maybe he rotates with Gleason on the third pairing.
-
Grimaldi-Knight-Nelson Parks-McMillan-O'donnel Rodwell-Rowney-Koules Chyzyk-St.Clair-Patyn McWilliam-Mattson Forbert- Jones Gleason-Simpson Seems like a good mix with a great first two lines and good talent and hustle on the 3-4 lines. I believe Kristo is gone but Jones comes and is rookie of the year and Nelson is player of the year.

Did anyone else think Blood seemed a little slow this weekend, didn't seem like he was skating like normal, he may be a little dinged up like the rest of the team or just getting run down with the ungodly amount of ice time he logs. Twelve league games left lets finish strong.
-
Is the season over, not quite. If I was told we would split this weekend I would have been good with that, win five of the next six and we will have home ice come playoff time. This team has to find out that they can't just show up, low on talent, they just need to out work the other team.
