On the BCHL message board someone wrote that D.Zajac is on of the hardest hitting fowards in the league, sounds like he was born to be a Sioux
-
Lets hope your right, It would be a great game Sioux vs Gophers with all the marbles on the line
-
That's funny stuff but he is still better than listening to musucko. On another note has anyone noticed how many commitments Wisconsin has for next year and beyond. I wonder if they all no about the second 1/2 troubles they will be facing
-
I guess what I'am getting at is you can give any reason at all for someones actions but if no is in the forest when a tree falls how does one no if it was spit on
-
Yes, according to Heisenbergs recruiting site
-
Maybe Spirko should have cupped his ear and skated half way around the rink then the gopher fans would have thought of him as a saint(halos ?) after he potted the ENG
-
Were you there because I was and we sit upper level right across from the penality box and secruity stands right there so I highly doubt he got spit on but it makes for a good excuse
-
I'am sure with security standing right there he was getting spit on,come on you guys can do better than that. Maybe they insulted RY-RY
-
You read like a "LARGE NOVEL"
-
In my book 30 years is fair weather Maybe your a closet Goopher fan the way you obsess over Phil the Thrill
-
Its nice how a johnny-come-lately fan is saying that I am abandoning the Sioux, get back to me when you have been a fan more than 2-3 years.Just because you question systems, motivation or anything else doesn't mean you always want someones head but just want things to be better. If we were JBSU maybe this year would be an ok year but we are THE FIGHTING SIOUX,one of the premier teams in college hockey.
-
If that all you got is the Triouxper no problem he's to busy with his Phil bashing and keeping slappy at bay

Well is the sky falling or has it already fell, yes I have been critical of this coaching staff and there style since last year. Over on uscho there are a couple of posters saying were all naysayers and its not right to say anything negative.Well we all have different opinions and thats what makes message boards go round. I was one of the people calling for Hakstols head last year and maybe a little this year also but I do so because i want the Sioux to be the best team out there not middle of the pack just trying to get home ice. Most of all it's the style they play and lack of intensity from the players both this year and last. Last yeat everyone was saying just give Hakstol time and everything will be allright, well I say what has he done better than the last guy, just one thing.Getting swept three times this year was one of them and he keeps giving the same answer not ready to play etc. I expect a exciting brand of hockey not cycle the puck behind the net and kill time with no one out front or a power play that has gotten three 6-4 at the end of the game and can't cash in. If this team turns it around i will be the first to post a say I'am wrong and if other people think I'am way off base now i will wait for you replies. Flame away

Whats really depressing is St. Cloud would take our spot in the regionals according to the brackets on USCHO
-
How did he know your real name is Francis
-
Maybe we should all lower our expections for the Sioux team, try not to finish last and get home ice for the playoff every other year. Maybe then we won't be disappointed
-
I rember Zach being booed the first time he played at the hooch.
-
Whatever thats my opinion and I'am sticking to it.Blais wasn't a perfect coach my any means(messing with goalies) but his team always played hard and alway forechecked and put lots of pressure on the other team,as for 01-02 if they would have had a goaltender who could have stopped a beach ball it would have been a lot better year.
-
I agree it's a long way from over but they need to change something or the results we be the same. When Blais was at the helm they were fun to watch, always applying pressue and getting on the opposing team win or lose.As for last years frozen four was it coaching or the big class of seniors finally waking up.

Bad weekend what an understatement. How many cliches are we going to use this week, can't control the other teams goalie,no puck luck or the one we have used all year there just too young.it used to be when the Sioux were down even by two goals that lead wasn't safe, now if they get the first goal its almost over at that point.Friday night with a six on four we eat it along the boards with our faces on the glass and trying to cycle the puck, geez there has to be a open man there somewhere I would think.Maybe Hakstols systems are to easy to defend maybe to structured not enough room for offensive creativity.maybe they should try putting someone, anyone in front of the net where you can score instead of all three below the red line all the time.I know that I will be torched for this post like my last one but until something changes its frustrating to watch a team with lots of talent keep peeing down there own leg. The systems I blame on Hakstol and lack is of intensity falls on his shoulders also. Maybe Hakstol should change Assit. coaches or systems.I remember during Hakstols press conference how we wouldn't even notice the change from his team and Blais's well I for one can tell the difference

No doubt but with his Dad and Uncle being alums we should have had the inside track
-
I have a nephew that plays on the the Moorehead team with Jordy and he was as suprised as anyone. All he could say was look at the rink you have to play in LMAO Whats up with taking the first offer my Parise he's only a Jr. whats the hurry look around and wait maybe he can play for a contender not a pretender.

-
Just trying to do my part don't you know
